       We come together to worship and celebrate…and yet my heart is very heavy, because I am commanded by the Lord to preach to you a message that not only have I never preached, but since I have been saved these 36 years, I have never heard it preached!

       I share the burden of Ezekiel in 33 chapter, /“//I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me. 8 When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

\\ A. Today America, home of the free, it runs red with the blood of the murder of millions of babies.

Since 1973, 42.1 million innocent babies have been murdered  by *ABORTION,* that is more than the combined populations of NYC, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas, Chicago, St. Louis, Philadelphia, Detroit, Atlanta, Miami, Houston, KC, 42.1 million counting, at the rate of *2 million a year, or 4,100 per day! \\ * \\ B. By the time, your leave church over 300 babies will be murdered, and by the time you go to work tomorrow, over 4,100 more innocent people will be *submitted to capital punishment, by ABORTION.*,

Who will be their to defend them?

They will have no trial before they are executed.

They will have no defense attorney, and will not be granted the basic rights of even a serial killer~/ prisoner or terrorist against the United States.

They will not hear/, “if you can not afford an attorney, then one will be appointed.”/

Not only will they not be treated humanely, they will not be afforded the basic anesthetics used by every veterinarian in the world, but they will die a torturous death, ripped apart by forceps and injected with toxins.

A “seal” in Alaska or a cat or a dog on the streets of Daytona will have more rights than an unborn baby.

If you “miss treat” a dog or a cat, your will be charged with “in humane” treatment of an animal, your will be fined, sent to jail and risk imprisonment, just ask Michel Vick!

Of the 4,100 baby’s killed their *only crime* was that they lived in the womb, unable to defend themselves.

Of those 4,100 killed 4 out of every 10, or 39%,  will be Afro-Americans, when Afro-Americans only compose only, 1 out of 10, or 15% of society, \\ \\ *II.*

Certainly there are women in church who have had abortions prior to being saved and some even after they were saved, “/for *such were some of us*/*.*”

The *purpose of this message* is anything but to laden you w~/ more guilt, but rather to */“stop the slaughter of innocent babies!”/*

The Bible says, /“All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”  Jesus said,/ “/Let him without sin cast the first stone!”/

Sister and brother, you’ve confessed it, forsaken it, and just like my sins, and all your other sins, Jesus’ /“blood has washed it white as snow!”/

What can wash away my sin, Nothing but the blood of Jesus! \\            a.

Perhaps the greatest man in the OT was Moses~/NT was Paul… \\ …what do they have in common?

*Both committed murder prior to being saved*.

Thank God today for the powerful blood of Jesus that cleanses us of \\ ALL sin! \\ \\ A. This is not at all a comfortable topic to speak…or to listen to.

In fact I have been saved for for over 36 years, and I have never heard a sermon in church  or even on TV.

I only heard one Bible class on this subject, last year, by “yours truly!”

When I was asked, “what was the number one killer among young Afro-Americans?”

(1,700 Afro-Amrican babies are slaughtered everyday).

You would think that any atrocity where 4,000 innocent lives are murdered every day or 1.2 million babies killed a year, the church would be in an uproar!

Maybe they realize that this subject is so controversial that if it was preached that half of their congregation would leave.

In the  Iraq War after 5 years, the death toll of 4,311 American soldier brought protest and an out cry, “bring our soldiers home!”

But *TODAY *we speak on behalf of the innocent, helpless, unborn *w~/ hopes of saving lives*!

\\ \\ B. Several years ago a man walked along a beach at low tide.

A great storm had come and had left the beach covered w~/ *starfish*…out of their element.

They were dying.

And there were hundreds of thousands of them.

The man began picking them up one by one, casting them into the ocean that they might live.

Another man came along and asked /what he was doing/?

He said /I’m trying to save these starfish./

The man laughed, /“there are too many of them.

You couldn’t possibly make a difference.”/

He looked at the one in his hand and said, /“Ask this little starfish.

I can make a difference to this one.”/

*If we can save just one child, we can make a difference!*

\\ \\ III.

*Who are the contributors to this atrocity?*

\\ \\ A. Supreme court justices to voted in favor of *Roe vs. Wade, 1973* \\ Social planners like *Planned Parenthood* who every day advise and encourage young ladies to seek abortions.

Greedy physicians who put the almighty dollar ahead of their “Hippocritic oath” to preserve life at all costs, getting rich off of their chambers of death.

Willing fathers and mothers who, sometimes ignorantly, some times intentionally, lay conscience aside and allow the “god of selfishness” to reigh supreme \\ \\ B.. If these people just mentioned do not *confess* and *repent*…I submit to you that Pharaoh in the OT and King Herod in the NT, “Sodom and Gomorrah” on judgment day, will rise up in judgment against us.

Hitler will have to stand in line behind these people before receiving his sentence.

\\ \\ \\ 1.

On Jan. 22, 1973, nine men in black robes Supreme court justices to voted in favor of *Roe vs. Wade, 1973, *said there are only 3 requirements in our country in order to have a legal abortion: \\ \\ 1) The baby must still be inside the mother.

\\ 2) The mother must submit to the procedure.

\\ 3) A licensed doctor must officiate.

\\        It’s not only legal to kill a baby, it’s easy as a same day, out-patient procedure…what’s wrong with this picture?

IV.

*TYPES OF ABORTION \\ *.A.* Early Birth Abortion – *where the baby is given a series of toxic chemicals to kill it.

Then there is

B.* Partial-birth abortion*, (All but the babies’ head is delivered.

And as the nurse holds still the wiggling body of the mostly delivered child, the doctor inserts a pair of surgical scissors into the back of the neck, then opens the scissors to crush the brain and spinal connection.).

Last year the President Bush and Congress passed a bill banning “partial birth abortion.”

Not because it is wrong to kill a baby, but because when they saw the film they said it was “in human” torture!

\\ C. *Late Term Abortion.

*It’s legal in the U.S. to have an abortion even in the 9th month of pregnancy, and even if the mother is in labor!

All that is necessary is for 1 licensed physician to reason that in his opinion the health of the mother is at stake.

(Not life of the mother…health)

The court describes what they mean by the */“health”/* of the mother this way: “The medical judgment concerning the mother’s health may be exercised in the physical, emotional, psychological, familial, and the woman’s age.”

\\            This means she can have an abortion if she feels that having a baby could stress her out.

Or, if childcare would tax her mental health.

Whose mental health has not been taxed by childcare?

Or, if the stigma of an out-of-wedlock pregnancy would distress her socially.

\\ D. *After-Birth Abortion, *if a baby survives  a failed abortion, they can still kill the baby up to 6 hrs post delivery.

Only 3 Senators in the state of Illinois have the distinction of *voting in favor of POST-ABORTION murder, * one of them will be the next President of the U.S.

            The Senator from Illinois, said, that he was in favor of Pro-Choice because /if his daughters got pregnant he did not want his daughters to be punished by having a baby!/ (Does that mean that getting pregnant with a child is a punishment?)

In fact the Senator from Illinois said, “ the first thing he will do when he becomes President will be to a *Federal UNIVERSAL PRO-CHOICE LAW*, (effectively eliminating all restrictions of aborting in the U.S. and the 2nd thing he will use every resource of the office of the President, to pass a Federal Law giving Homosexuals FULL EQUALITY in the Whitehouse and *Marriage*!

When asked by Rick Warren, the pastor of Saddleback church, point blank, “When does life began?”

He answered, “that is a very complicated answer, the answered, with a chuckle, that is above my “pay grade!”

When his opponent was asked the same question, he said, “life begins at the moment of conception!”

 

 

IV.

The *Double Standard*:  

A. 1) We all have heard about the girl who a few years ago left the prom, gave birth to her baby into a toilet, and then returned to the dance.

She was arrested for murder, as she should have been…but wait a minute.

Wasn’t she told it was ok?

After all, she could have taken care of that an hour earlier at a clinic and it would have been fine!

\\           2.

Or, you probably heard about the father, who, when handed his newborn son, threw him against the wall of the delivery room, killing him.

He was arrested for murder, as he should have been.

But wait…it would’ve been ok just minutes before to let a doctor kill it.

3. Mr. Peterson who killed his wife, who was six months pregnant and charged and found guilty of “double homicide!”

\\             3.Recently a mother drowned all 5 of her children, why did she go to jail?

Do you see the double standard?

4.

Scott Peterson was found guilty of killing his girlfriend who was 6 weeks pregnant.

He is not serving 2 life term sentences for “double homicide” \\ \\ B. *Dr.

Adrian Rogers, *much admired man in the ministry…who had opportunity a few years ago to testify before the Senate on this matter.

After telling the Senators what the Bible says about abortion, a woman approached him outside the chamber, and she was mad.

She was a “deaconness” in a church in D.C., and a lawyer.

That’s 2 strikes against her so far!
