WHAT ARE YOUR CROWNS?

13 Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them. 14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven. 15 And he laid his hands on them, and departed thence.

Christians must welcome children as Jesus Christ did. They are used by Christ as an example of how believers should receive the kingdom, and as an example of immaturity by Paul.

Sitting on my porch with my wife on a cool Summer night before a rain. We talk about God most of the time. The topic of crowns came up. What my wife told me that her crowns she will lay at Jesus’ feet are her kids. She gave then to God when she was pregnant with them. Her job is to polish and mold each one. Two crowns that she finds pride in! I then had to think what is my crown or crowns? I can not be a crown worthy to give Christ. Then my wife needs to be mine. Why you ask? He gave her to me so is it not my responsibility to care for her and abide by the vows I took. How I treat my wife is the way I treat my crown for Christ.
Picture of what a perfect Christian house should mirror. The MAN is the leader of the house. The WOMAN is to support her husband. The MAN is responsible for the spiritual and physical needs of his wife. If a MAN sees his wife as a gift from God and a gift to God. The MAN pours into her, and he listens, thinks, and then responds to her. When they have children, the WOMAN is given a crown (gift from God). integrating the child in to the family is never easy. If you stay the course and continue to honor your vows. The WOMAN is able to focus on the child as you lead her through. Children see how the MAN treats the WOMAN and they will treat her the same. The man of the house is the example for the family. The dynamics of the house play a huge role in how a child is raised.
