29 because those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.
5 And have you forgotten the exhortation addressed to you as sons? “My son, do not scorn the Lord’s discipline or give up when he corrects you.
6 “For the Lord disciplines the one he loves and chastises every son he accepts.”
7 Endure your suffering as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is there that a father does not discipline?
8 But if you do not experience discipline, something all sons have shared in, then you are illegitimate and are not sons.
9 Besides, we have experienced discipline from our earthly fathers and we respected them; shall we not submit ourselves all the more to the Father of spirits and receive life?
10 For they disciplined us for a little while as seemed good to them, but he does so for our benefit, that we may share his holiness.
11 Now all discipline seems painful at the time, not joyful. But later it produces the fruit of peace and righteousness for those trained by it.
HE GIVES DISCIPLINE TO HIS CHILDREN.

10 In the same way, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of God’s angels over one sinner who repents.”
17 But when he came to his senses he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired workers have food enough to spare, but here I am dying from hunger!
18 I will get up and go to my father and say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you.
19 I am no longer worthy to be called your son; treat me like one of your hired workers.” ’
20 So he got up and went to his father. But while he was still a long way from home his father saw him, and his heart went out to him; he ran and hugged his son and kissed him.
21 Then his son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you; I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’
22 But the father said to his slaves, ‘Hurry! Bring the best robe, and put it on him! Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet!
23 Bring the fattened calf and kill it! Let us eat and celebrate,
24 because this son of mine was dead, and is alive again—he was lost and is found!’ So they began to celebrate.

Your only job as a father is NOT to just put food on the table and a roof over your families head.
If your kids only had your current example of how to live and know God, would they even be saved? what will their eternity look like with your example as their road map?
Parents are the Priests of their home, not the pastors of the church. Are you taking your responsibility serious before God?
Jesus has shown us the most amazing father to seek, to trust and to allow to mold our lives in His image
