How did you feel? When you first saw that video with officer Derek Chauvin kneeling upon the neck of George Floyd.

What was your reaction to the protests in the riots and the Looting that followed on the streets of America?

It seems like a touchy subject today to to ask those questions, and I know some of us can struggle about how should we respond particularly to the first of those questions? But I want to say to you this morning good to be horrified at what happened. Just to want Justice to come is a good thing because that shows that we are created in God's image these humans. We have a strong sense of justice. the net comes because our creator has put into us that attribute of justice of seeking students died of what is right and that is a good thing but the problem we have to die is that our understanding of justice of what True Justice is what it means to be just has been War it is humans we tend to chase after the wrong things and so this morning I want to take this opportunity with you to look at what the scriptures tell us about Justice what it means to be Justin to demonstrate how God is just even if the world but try and argue that he is not So the first question that's naturally is raised his is that to psi. What does it mean to be just and we all think we understand that we all use the word and we all have some understanding of what it is, but I want to break it down reasonably simply. To be chaste to do justice is to do what is morally right and fair. To be just is to do what is morally right and fair notice in the definition. That should be just is a moral statement implies morality. It says that Justice is good and that Injustice is bad. And if I did this connection of justice and morality is showing throughout the scripture turn with me to some 97 and it will have a quick look at the first couple of verses they attend to show how Justice is connected with morality with righteousness throughout the scripture in Psalm 97 the right the Lord Reigns let the Earth Rejoice let the mini coastlands be glad clouds and thick Darkness a roll around him righteousness and Justice are the foundation of his throne. What is God's Authority built upon? What is God's Throne his authority built upon? It's built upon being righteous and being just the sound 97 is not the only place we see this is the same throughout scripture and we could spend the morning going through the examples of that. I want to draw attention to one more example as we start and that is Deuteronomy 32 verse for which we read this morning Andrew Ridge Forest. I need you to run to me 32 verse for Moses write the rock. His work is perfect for all his ways I Justice. A god of faithfulness and without iniquity just and upright. Is he a brightness there has that understanding of righteousness his wise at Justice. But notice the contrast there. What is the contrast against Justice is Iniquity? The God is a god of faithfulness. He is Jeff and because he is faithful and just he is without iniquity. And again, this is another parallel receive throughout the scripture. This way to look at this concept of justice and look to understand. What Justice is. I want to start out by addressing to misunderstandings of Justice. Two misunderstandings of Justice in the first I don't want to look at is that Justice is only punishment for wrong done. The misunderstandings we can fall into the Trap of thinking that Justice is only punishment for wrong. And that is not what scripture is out for us. Do we tend to think of Justice primarily in punishing people? This is why when a crime is committed the police will valve to bring the offender to Justice. This is why we called the judges that the that sit on the bench at the court justices. We have the Chief Justice of the Supreme justice justice in our usual form focuses upon punishment for wrong done. Suing the police Val to bring an offender to Justice. They valve to find that perpetrator to find the criminals to take him to court and then for the judge to hand down adjust invalid punishment for them. And this is a valid aspect of justice, but it is not. The only one is a God and we even saw that in in the versus initiate God calls us to do justice justice is not merely not doing bad things or making sure the bad people are punished. There is a positive action involved in doing Justice and that positive actions is about correcting an injustice or a depression that has a could This is a continual call a via prophets to Israel in the Old Testament. I would have run through three of those profits just to show you bracelets and Isaiah chapter 1 verses 16 and civilized I asked is to Israel wash yourselves make yourselves clean remove the evil of your Deeds from before my eyes cease to do evil learn to do good. Seek Justice correct. Oppression bring Justice to the fatherless plead the Widow's cause Does what is wrong with cold to do this is the indictment that Isaiah lies at the feet of Israel, but they didn't listen. Because we see Jeremiah saying much the same things in Jeremiah 22 verse 3 Jeremiah records. Thus says the Lord do justice and righteousness and deliver from the hand of the oppressor him who is being robbed and do no wrong or violence to the resident alien the fatherless and the Widow North shed innocent blood in his place. Notice hit the call of doing Justice of the positive actions the Jeremiah and end in God is calling the nation of Israel to do. Yes, there is the don't do wrong to them. But then there is also the Tyco what is right and make sure that what is right is being done to them as well.

Micah sums it up in chapter 6 verse night. Michael say is he that is God has told you I'm a man. What is good? And what does the Lord require of you sucks here? We have Micah saying this is what you've been told is what's good. This is what is required of you the we ought to listen as well. What does the Lord require of you but to do justice to love kindness and to walk humbly with your God? That is what's good. That is what is righteous. That is what God requires all that is to do justice to love kindness and to walk humbly with our God. We can just sit back inside will I have not wronged if anybody and where are seeing somebody has been wrong. I've been there to punish them that is not the extent of doing Justice and that is not true Justice in the states of the word either. This is part of with will get caught up in a wrong understanding of justice. And we see that with the rising that went on in America with seen that with all the statues being torn down to destroy history. Is that Justice for the world at this point in time is focused primarily on bringing punishment for wrongdoing. Got this the other side is the restoration of relationships this the restitution for the restoring what has been taken sand that is a key aspect of Justice at its aspect of justice that we don't have so much in the west to die. Co justice system is focused upon of prosecution of individuals of punishment of their crimes to incarceration. And what happens to the one who is being wrong? Where is the restitution in most cases for the one who is being wrong? It does not exist. And that is the biblical call for justice. A Jesus reiterated this cold in the New Testament. This is not merely an Old Testament call for the prophet to the people of Israel telling them what to do for a term of Justice Pastor Rod priest on this last week. Matthew 7:22, so whatever you wish that others would do to you do also to them for this is the law and the prophets.

Do to others. What you would wish that they would do to you and his Pastor Rod explain to his last week that is not merely as the will takes. It do not do what you don't want others to do to you but has the positive aspect of what you want them to do is something that you should be doing for them. And so it is when it comes to Justice.

Do we have Justice is being the whole map of the church throughout history?

This is something stupid set the Christians apart from the pagan people particularly. We see you in the early church and the Roman Empire because the Romans would leave baby to die of exposure because the children were unwanted play some Christian women would go out off the dock and I would go to the the refused stations to the tips and I would go seeking for these unwanted babies and they would take them and I would take them home that would care for them raise them and give them life. in times of plague people with flee from cities running away to get away from the play that was sweeping through cities five worst plagues and we are seeing with coronavirus at this knife and yet the Christians would turn and I would run into those cities. They would go to minister to the sick to the dying to proclaim the good news of Jesus to them. This is what roof so many of the Romans out. They wondered what is it about these people? Did they seem to have no care for their own lives but are willing to lay down their lives for other people. To tithe that which society does not want. To give them hope to give them Justice. This is what the early church did. What is we listen to the video from Dave and Andy this morning was a great comment that I made in there in regards to the fact that they were challenged what can one couple do? What can we do that? I said against this whole industry. But you know what? It takes one person to start something. Text one faithful person. At least I said to impact the lives of one or two or three or four people to do justice to those people and that is us being obedient to the cold to do justice. We go to think about this as well. We cannot get consumed with the problems of the world is a church. We need to be consumed with the local problems around us that we can have an impact within this is the cold to do justice. It's far more than ensuring offenders are brought to punishment, but it's also in making sure that restitution is made where wrong has been done.

To the second of the misconceptions that I want to address this morning is the thought that Justice Means fairness that Justice equals fanis. Faith is one dish that we can fall into it should have talked about is thinking that Justice is only about punishing wrongdoing. But if that's one ditch on one side of the rug on the other side of the road the other day, which is to think that Justice Means fan is now what do I mean when I say finished in this case because we seen scripture call us to be fair with quotes in the coal for furnace when I'm talking about fantasy on meaning the equality of outcomes. This is the other area with Justice is driven. And I will today is to say that everybody must have the same outcome. Not just the same opportunity. But Justice never says that everyone must get the same things Justice does not side that everybody must have the same thing Justice is everyone must be treated equally. some people might start with more how does mega thermal because of the way that I work with the skills that I've been given but everyone should have the same opportunity and everyone should be held to the same standards with James condemns the Jews when he says that they showed partiality to people with the big checkbook. You're wealthy. Come here have the best seats in the in the price coming coming around to El Pais for a meal come and do this come and be my friend. Where is the smelly person who come in off the street you sit in the corner. You think a little bit too much and James condemns them for showing partiality. This is what the Jews would do in the synagogue. If you wanted to be in the in a row of seats, then you had to wait for somebody to die. And then you had to pay the most money to get the closest seat and the clothes that you said The more important you seem to be That is not Justice. Justice is everyone has that same opportunity Fitness push for equality of outcome is a core of what's known as the social justice movement that it has been well said that the moment you put an adjectives in front of the wood Justice. You don't have Justice any longer. More than a hundred and twenty times that the Bible uses the word justice only wants does it ever prefix it with an adjectives and that isn't his EQ words prefixed with the adjectives true.

There is Justice all there is no justice. There is not social justice. There is not ecojustice. There is not racial Justice. There is not economic Justice. There is only Justice and Injustice. These are the social justice movement is upset equality of opportunity and equality of treatment is not enough. Is social justice everyone must be equal in everything? And this is Dean the driving force behind the abortion movement because you see if a man can go and be promiscuous without consequence than a woman must be equal and equally able to be promiscuous without consequence.

Side behind same-sex marriage because if somebody is able to marry the person that I love somebody else must be able to marry the person that they love they must have the equal outcome. This is why we see quote is fourth in business and education because we must have a balance everywhere. There must be an equality of outcome. Not an equality of opportunity.

Social justice when you look at it like this is simply Marxism socialism and communism their oldest. I'm covered with the term social justice.

Set the temp to hide the worldview. That is underneath. And it is not biblical. Weather elements to couldn't command within the social justice movement and there is there is a lot of push for restitution a lot of push to ensure equality of opportunity a lot of push to ensure that people are given the chances it goes much further than it should to that equality of outcome. And I want to demonstrate to you from scripture that this equality of outcome is not biblical turn with me to Luke chapter 19.

The Luke chapter 19 Jesus starts out by telling a parable. It starts to tell the parable of the mine is now this is very very similar to the start starts out with Jesus and Zacchaeus and then moves to the parable of the Minas in the parable of the Minas is very similar to the parable of the talents that we see recorded in Matthew. The point of the parable is the sign. What happens in this Parable is that nobleman Jesus? There's another woman went to a far country to receive a kingdom in return. And while he's away, he entrust his servant with some money to go and do business. To one of them he gives tin miners to another he gives 5 into 1/3 he gives once now there and at the stop is the obvious perspective that God is okay with people having different amounts. Because if God was not okay with that, why would he tell a parable of a nobleman with a nobleman is pictured as Jesus giving different gifts and different amounts to different people. The date of the conclusion the master returns. He asks the students to give an account of what they've done in the man who was given 10 - comes back in to see master your 10 - off mate 10 more and he's commanded. The man who was given to fly come back and stay safe at night five more and he is commanded and then the third servant comes the one who is deemed a wicked servant and he says I knew you were Fierce man that you reap what you do not suck. In order to protect your money. I put it in the ground in here. It is returned back to you. I've done nothing with it. I'm not lost it but have not gained anything with it in the response in the parable. I will look there from verse 24. So he that is the monster say to those who stood by take the minor from him and give it to the one who has the 10 -

take from the wicked and give it to the one with 5 to give it to the one who has the most and look at the reaction of the people. best 25 and I say to him he has 10 - you can kind of hear the echo with much of the culture today. Say why you giving it to him. He's got more than enough. He doesn't need any more money. He doesn't need any more gift. Why you giving it to him give it to somebody who has nothing.

And then the response is Jesus interprets the parable. I tell you that to everyone who has more will be given but from the one who has not even what he has will be taken away.

God is okay with us having different things. It's what we do with what God has given us. That is the issue. How are we using the gift that God has given us his run has been preaching Through The Sermon on the Mount preaching about anxiety and stewardship and the use of out finances.

that is what should be factoring in as we consider Justice and what are we doing with that which God has given us when not to treat people in accordance with the size of the wallets with a treat people because the same because every single person Every single person is made in the image of God. And that is where they get their worth from that is where they get their value from. That is why we must treat everybody equally because every single person is a creation of God and holds equal standing for that reason.

Twisted wrist the truth misunderstandings of Justice. What I now want to do is look at two challenges that the world makes against God's justice. So now we go to bed around the standing of what Justice is. What Justice is it? Let's look at how the world challenges God's justice in the first wife did the world challenges God's justice is to declare that God's law is not just the cliff that God's law is not just reset at the start of justice is a moral commitment. It is adhering to a moral standard the question then becomes what is the moral standard by which we judge Justice? Who gets to Define? What is right and what is wrong and their fourth in defining? What is right and what is wrong who gets to Define? What is just and what is unjust?

That was so long in Western Nations because of a Christian Heritage that understanding of justice has been founded upon the principles of the Bible. God's law has provided the foundation of the legal system and therefore and understanding of what is just what is right. What is I'm Justin what is wrong with his the culture fleas from anything Christian? We seeing that move a wife from the Bible as the source of Law and morality and this is the fight that we are in from a Justice perspective in the world. You see what we see today as we've moved away from the Bible as a source of authority is a lack of General respect for authority.

An increase in gambling greed. We see drunkenness. Changes to an understanding of marriage and divorce and when it's okay and what marriage should be? And then as we seeing today in the culture of Death Around abortion at the beginning of Life and euthanasia at the end of life this did this declaration that we are masters of our own Destinies a we are the ones that can decide who gets to live or die.

But you know what? This is not just a challenge in the world. This challenge that we see in our culture is also inviting the church. And so we have challenges within the church as we seek to understand morality. And so many churches have capitulated on clear Biblical teaching around things like marriage and sexuality. Because the church is determined didn't know if we want to be with a culturist. We are not going to stand upon what gods this and so much of that has come from the fact that because we have growing up in a Christian nice in a nation founded on Christian principles. That we have started to lose the distinction between the elements of our culture that are Christian and the elements without culture that are Australian. It is we confuse those it is the Australian culture moves further away from Christian understanding. We're going to be placed in a situation where we have to decide which is the standard of Justice.

Sadly the world has got to run from God. This is what Romans 1 tells us that the world will suppress the truth of in unrighteousness.

But in the church, we also have to be careful that we are not complicit in smoothing away. The rough edges of God's law simply tonight Christianity palatable for the world. See when we do that when we move away from the true standard of Justice then what are we going to end up doing? We going to end up committing Injustice. Because we are moving away from that with his body is just Why do we modify Godzilla? Why do we have that tendency to smooth away those rough edges will I think it comes down primarily to the fact that we don't like what it says and that might be that we don't like what it says because we know we can't keep it that many people try to explain to wife the commandant not to bear false witness if it's only a little white lie, it doesn't hurt anybody.

Maybe it's not that we can keep it. Maybe it's just simply that we don't want to keep it. Maybe we like out soon. And so therefore we seek a wife to work around it for maybe we don't want to have to be able to tell others that I need to keep it. We leave it as a matter of conscience, and I wouldn't do that, but I'm not going to tell them that they can't do that. Illinois parole dog. The issue is the we think we can fit a Bissell or when God can. If we boil it down, the reason we don't like God's lore is that we think we can say to Business Law Firm or fail or more just bought a law that would lead to better outcomes for everybody. This is just be out working of Satan's Temptation in the Garden of Eden. Do you eat the fruit? You should know good and evil, you should be like God able to declare what is right and what is wrong? That's the first challenge with the word world lies at God's justice has decided God's lore is not just and therefore it must be changed. The second challenge that the world will lion guards are the justices decide that God's actions are not just Ironically half the time that appeal to the Lord that God has to find in order to try and demonstrate that God is on just because he's not keeping his law. The second way is to argue that God's actions are not just how do they do a challenge God's actions have in what ways do we do we say that God's actions not just when we Grumble and complain because God doesn't punish the guilty. When we Grumble and complain because God does punish the innocent. When do look at these two options the fastest Wii Grumble when God doesn't punish the guilty. How to get this is something that we've seen through this prescription Jeremiah 12 verses 1 and 2 Jeremiah is wrestling with God it is things asking God questions. He says in verse 1 of chapter 12 Rochester. You are Lord when I complain to you. Yes, I would plead my case before you why does The Way of the Wicked Prosper? Why do old to a treacherous thrive? You plant them and they take root they grow and produce fruit. You are narrative mouth and fire from the haunt.

The Jeremiah is asking God. These are wicked people they claim to love you. Use your narrative mouth. What you call them to do and yet Lord you establish them you plant them so that they can take Ruth. They Grove headlight for juice fruit while or do you let the wicked prosper?

Jeremiah is not the only one to ask that that's the fastest. It is Psalm 73. Why does the why do the wicked Prosper solution Lord? I'm looking around here. I am trying to save you and I'm persecuted and I'm beating it on downtrodden though. I look around and those who hate you. They seem to prosper and everything that they do.

By the end of Psalm 73 he understands. The answer to that and we will get there as we go through this challenge of God letting the wicked live them the God blessing the wicked not punishing them is also a framed in the in the question of how can a loving God allow evil in the world.

How can a loving God allow evil in the world and that stems from our desire to see Justice done? And that's a good thing.

Is Tom why is it fits right to ask the question. How can you allow the evil in the world?

Will come to the answer. I'm going to keep you on the edge of your seat on that when we will come and we will answer that question but not right now. Tissue is as well. But because the world does not believe God of this is why they they look at this tonight. I see and I try and understand how can God allow evil in the world because to the World by a large old I have is now Eat drink and be merry for tomorrow we die. And when we die, there is nothing. How do we know? There's nothing because we ask the did what happens after I die if I didn't respond they feel they must be nothing. The world doesn't believe in God has had their fourth. They do not believe that there is an ultimate Justice to come see this is the trick for a Christian. This is where we can rest as Christians when we see Injustice in the world. We know that Justice will ultimately be done but to the world hair and now is the only chance for justice to be done. And so therefore if it does not happen now, It will never happen. What we seeing today is an attempt to bring to the to today's people Justice for the sins that have been committed in the past, but it's just this week. Is it example? Is this the last of the probably the last of the Nazi war trials was held? Add a 93 year old man who had been extradited from America earlier. This year was convicted on Thursday of his role of being an SS guard at the student off concentration camp in 1944 in 1945. See the world could not let a single SS guard get away with his role in the Holocaust and what happened? I'm not here to excuse what happened.

But when all you have is this life for justice to be done, then you'll Focus will be on hunting down every single person and ensuring that Justice gets done now. It what does this lead to what this leads to is innocent people being found guilty and punished for crimes that I didn't commit so that not a single guilty person might go free gone is the Justice perspective that it's better for 10 guilty men to walk free than for one innocent man to be punished. Which was founded on a perspective that there is an ultimate Justice to be coming too, that no one will get away with the Injustice that I have committed this feed into another misconception of justice. And that is that Justice delayed is Injustice.

Justice delayed is not in justice justice denied is Injustice. The Justice the light is Mercy. And we will talk about that in another sermon. The second one the second child is the second wife. We complained about God's actions As We complain when God does punish the innocent sometimes this could be frightened to the states that God's punishment does not fit the crime. The God is too heavy-handed in the wife that he punishes people in of course way to people through a challenging run to that runs the Old Testament. Lauren generally to first and foremost the conquest of Canaan Andrew mentioned that this morning is whether the children of accounting to in the Sunday school lesson for the conquest of China called decree the wiping out of entire nations of people. Men women and children How could a just God do that? And I'm going to leave you hanging on that one because I'm going to talk about that next time we come together next time. I have the opportunity to preach. But some of the other ones that I look at it is 9 a.m. In Abiquiu. If you remember in Leviticus 10:9 and Avi, who were the sons of Aaron the two oldest sons of Erin. They offered and authorized fire before the altar of the Lord and he struck the dead immediately. So we could look to Oz's in 1st Chronicles 13 with helping to bring the ark up from the server to take it to Jerusalem so that I could have pride of place. And what happened. It was the aqua Zone in Knox County off The Oxen stumbled and has reached out with his hands are steady the ark so would not fall onto the ground and the moment he touched the eye called strike him dead.

It doesn't seem fair. I think about it particularly for us. He was doing was trying to reach out and just stop the Ark of God from falling onto the ground but is RC sproul's most beautifully put it I'll just probably was thinking that his head was cleaner than the dirty ground. I was just sitting in the reason that God struck him did was because he had the presumption to think that his head was cleaner than the dirty ground and we will talk about that in a moment.

Jesus was also confronted with this challenge of God's righteousness in his ministry. Luke Chapter 13 Jesus is confronted and read from this one. There was some present at that time who told him that is told Jesus about the galileans whose blood pilot had bingo with their sacrifices. Do you think that these galileans were worse than is that all the other galileans because I suffered in this way.

No, I tell you but unless you repent you will all likewise perish in Siloam fell and killed them. Do you think that they wear offenders than all the others who lived in Jerusalem?

See Jesus response when he's challenged about God's punishment of the innocent is to ask the question. What makes you think that they were innocent? What makes you think that that you are more innocent than them and therefore that you don't deserve what happened to them.

CVT issues when we ask that question to save how can God punish the innocent? Is to ask the wrong question. Do we need to flip the question around we should not be asking how can a loving God see the evil in the world and it allows the evil to continue in the will the question we should be asking that is the right question is how can that loving God who is Holy look at me and everything. I did in the last 24 hours and allow me to live.

See, that's what Justice demands. So frequently as Christians we cry out for justice justice is the last thing that we want. What we want and what we need is God's mercy. See werewolves deserving of punishment from God for housing. That was as issue. He was a simple matter 15U the roles. He was likely a coincide. One of the tribe who is tasked with carrying The Rock he would have known I was at the only way that they would carry the Aquos to put the poles through the Rings and carry it on their shoulders that there was no opportunity for it to fall off.

He would have known that to even look on the awkward bring him dead. So in God's mercy the fact that the ark was uncovered and he could look on it and not die not. I was a blessing but for him to reach out and touch it when he knew that he was never to do so was a direct Disobedience to Ward's Garden start was fortnite Ivan IV, who as they brought fire. That was unauthorized before God. I knew what was right.

I when I authorize it directly in contrast to God God in his Justice struck them down.

In God's mercy and God's grace. He is the lion for us the Fulfillment of his judgment. We all deserve to be strapped down immediately. But that day will come. When God's judgement will come upon the Earth and this is Leeds me understand. To the two methods that God uses to demonstrate his judgment. The first of those methods is the punishment of The Sinner with me to Acts chapter 17. Next chapter 17 is in Athens. He's at the areopagus. He's standing up on Mars Hill and he's preaching. to the people to the the philosophes reverse 30. He says the times of ignorance God overlooked but now he commands all people everywhere to repent. Because why is he why is he calling everyone to repent because he is fixing to die on which he will judge the world in righteousness by a man who hate whom he has appointed and all of this he is given Assurance tool is not he's just saying if he's given Assurance he's guaranteed that this will happen by raising him. That is this man who will charge that is Jesus from the dead. Seashore is Jesus was raised from the dead. Jesus will return to judge the world.

At that point every knee will bow. Every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.

And at that point True Justice will be done to every sinner on the Earth.

Because God is omniscient because Jesus is omniscient. He knows every wrong committed. He knows every Injustice committed. He knows every said he knows every time in perfect detail.

It's somebody has done wrong and because he knows perfectly and because he is good. He cannot let the guilty go unpunished and therefore because he is just he will punish every Injustice with the exact right punishment. That is June. They will not be a single drop of Injustice from God. He cannot bring a moment of Injustice. Because that would go against his character is nycha his goodness his holiness. He will punish every sin. And so if that is you if you are a sinner. If you are still in your sins, this is what awaits you as surely as God raised Jesus from the dead. He will come on a diet for that judgment and we do not know when that is.

That leads us to the steak and Method by which God demonstrates his Justice. What's the fastest way to the punishment of The Sinner? The second is through the punishment of the Sun?

This is a harp. Colin Robbins Reef as he spent the first three chapters laying out the case against all Humanity in Romans 1 the Gentiles because of their Rebellion a condemned before God in Romans tooth Jews. Don't you go tanning around and pointing at the Gentiles and staying that they've got it all wrong and that you would think you were okay because you're a Jew you've done exactly what I've done and you also been condemned before God and so therefore the summation and Robin 3 old extended full short of the glory of God. We see here. I'm in 3 from verse 23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God and I justified by his grace. As a gift through the Redemption that is in Christ, Jesus who God put forward as a propitiation by his blood to be received by faith that would propitiation. There was a big word. Not just in the links in the complexity, but in what it means to be propitiation to propitiate something is to turn away the rough. It's the substitute. This is talking about how God put forth of Christ Jesus as a propitiation by his blood. This was to show God's righteousness because in his Divine forbearance, he passed over full distance. Why did Jesus have to die? Why did I save you need to come to it to live a life and to be crucified on a Roman crossbow tells us in Romans 3 verse 26. It was to show his righteousness at the present time so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

Do you have two options for the God's justice to be pulled up by the gods Justice will be poured out upon the person who has committed the crime.

Or it will be poured out upon the one before it in a place. That is the son Christ Jesus.

But not only is this Justice a case of punishing the Wicked the remember of arguing through this the justice is not merely the punishment of the wicked for wrong. But it is also the the ensuring that what is this given what is given to people is is just as right and is what should be given to them Justice also encompasses blessings for those who are righteous. And so therefore if in God's justice, he will punish The Sinner for their sins God in his Justice will also reward the believer because they are righteous not in their own righteousness. Because I have the righteousness of Christ.

Adjust as sure as God will punish the wicked. So God will bless the righteous because that is what his Justice demands that he must do. I said that leaves the question for you this morning. Where are you? When it comes to God's justice. Are you there a city under the condemnation of God's Wrath waiting for his Justice to fall on youth in punishment for the sins that you have committed throughout your life for the Injustice is that you have done to God and two other people.

Have you repented put your trust in the Savior the Lord Jesus Christ in his a turning death upon the cross on the fact that he bought your sins in his body that he was made a curse for you so that you might become the righteousness of God and thereby are under the blessings of God's justice because of the righteousness of Christ.

Where are you to die? If you're not right with Christ if you have not repented and put your trust in him I plead with you this morning to do so.

Because if you do not God will surely bring Justice to Bear upon you in your punishment.

But he is faithful to save those who come to leave whenever cast out those who come humbly before him. So do that this morning? To bring glory to the just judge in the king of the universe. Paris Prime
