Proverb 3:5-7 (Amplified Bible Classic Edition) 5 Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. 6 In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths. 7 Be not be wise in your own eyes; reverently fear and worship the Lord and turn [entirely] away from evil. 2 Chron 7:14 (New American Standard) 14 and My people [a]who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land. But I will trust in, lean on, and confidently rely on You.
