The Good Shepherd - Pt. 1 John 10:11-21 * Jesus revealed that He is the Good Shepherd (11-18) Matthew 1:21 21 "She will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins." Acts 20:28 28 "Be on guard for yourselves and for all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood. Acts 13:48 48 When the Gentiles heard this, they began rejoicing and glorifying the word of the Lord; and as many as had been appointed to eternal life believed. Acts 18:10 10 for I am with you, and no man will attack you in order to harm you, for I have many people in this city." John 6:37, 39 37 "All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will certainly not cast out. 39 "This is the will of Him who sent Me, that of all that He has given Me I lose nothing, but raise it up on the last day. Since Jesus protects us from the coming judgement, we can rest assured that He will always take care of us (1Thes 1:10; Romans 8:31-39) The Good Shepherd always protects His sheep - this is why Jesus satisfied the justice of God when He took our just judgment upon Himself.
