The gifts God gives His people are for the benefit of all and not the exclusive domain of the individual. Leading into that great chapter on love we come to find the specific purpose for these "supernatural" giftings. As we consider the hatred, turmoil and hopelessness out there in our communities, we begin to see that the church is empowered to love one another with excellence and "expertise" through her common reception of God's Spirit and His provisions.
