The chaos and struggle of life is not of God’s making. The sin and systems which exist that harm or keep people in bondage are from man and man’s sin. We have been allowed to continue in life, often immersed in the effects of sin, because permitting the freedom of a man’s soul and right to choose is central to the character of God. He desires that we have both the freedom to choose Him and the life He brings, and that we choose this life. He will not force us into this relationship. But, because of this freedom, we are prone to wander.
