There is so much going on around us, so much uncertainty about what lies ahead for us, so much substantive change that is impacting each of us in different ways each week. I rarely encounter someone who is not reacting in one way or another. God's people have been here before. In Matthew 9, Jesus "went through the towns and the villages" and he "had compassion on them because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd." That's when he commissioned his disciples to action.
