When I graduated in 1985 - Yes, a whole life-time ago, We were busy putting toilet paper on our friends cars, houses and trees, not hoarding and guarding it like ravenous wolves
We Might have worn masks in 1985, but I don’t think this was the type of mask on our minds...
Things were so bad that apparently only the buses were allowed at school...
Toilet Paper was Gold, but an over-abundance of chalk from no in-person classes allowed for great street and sidewalk decorations
And of course in 1985 we invited everyone, and they all came for the bad cake and a glimpse at their favorite person… but this year, we had to tell everyone to stay away...
In 1985, we thought the future held such promise… I mean, flying cars? Yes! “cool” sunglasses and clothing? Yes!
Then the reality of 2020 struck...

Even though you are Busy - Do Not Forget to DO GOOD WORKS because of the Love of Jesus

Matthew 5:16 ESV
16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

Even though you will be Distracted - Keep your LOVE PROPERLY FOCUSED on GOD

Matthew 22:37 NLT
37 Jesus replied, “ ‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’
Revelation 2:4–5 ESV
4 But I have this against you, that you have abandoned the love you had at first. 5 Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent, and do the works you did at first. If not, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place, unless you repent.

Even though you may be Timid or Intimidated - Be SALT and LIGHT to this WICKED Generation

Matthew 5:13–16 NLT
13 “You are the salt of the earth. But what good is salt if it has lost its flavor? Can you make it salty again? It will be thrown out and trampled underfoot as worthless. 14 “You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. 15 No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.

Even though the world tempts with Lust and Passion - Be PURE and HOLY as Fit Vessels for the Master’s Use!

1 Thessalonians 4:3–4 NLT
3 God’s will is for you to be holy, so stay away from all sexual sin. 4 Then each of you will control his own body and live in holiness and honor—
Romans 6:11–14 NLT
11 So you also should consider yourselves to be dead to the power of sin and alive to God through Christ Jesus. 12 Do not let sin control the way you live; do not give in to sinful desires. 13 Do not let any part of your body become an instrument of evil to serve sin. Instead, give yourselves completely to God, for you were dead, but now you have new life. So use your whole body as an instrument to do what is right for the glory of God. 14 Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God’s grace.
