Marriage breakdown can be one of the most damaging and painful experiences that human beings go through. The ramifications can have a wide impact and last for years, decades even, into the future. And we all know people who have suffered through it. It's why we can never affirm, promote and protect marriage enough. It's why Jesus highlights God's good design, and only points to an exception in protection of marriage. And it's why both marriage and divorce must be viewed through Jesus' redemption
