Prayer And Fasting
A little over a week ago pastor And I were talking about fasting and prayer. Then he told Me the next time I teach that he would like me to teach on fasting and prayer. Then last Sunday morning brother Hanke asked me if I would teach Sunday school this week while he was away. So today I'll be teaching on fasting and prayer. Teaching on prayer is inexhaustible in itself. I am thankful that our pastor has been teaching on prayer lately. But I think he and I would both agree that he has just scratched the surface. I once taught my college and careers Sunday school class for a year on prayer. That might sound like a long time but again prayer is an inexhaustible subject. Prayer reaches beyond the vast depth of the deepest sea. Prayer reaches beyond the distance of the farthest planet or star away from us. Prayer reaches up to the very Lord of lords, King of kings, God of gods in heaven. And a 30 minute Sunday school class seems little time to do the subject of prayer and fasting justice. But by the grace and power of God I will do my best

O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come.
