Proverbs 24:16 NKJV
16 For a righteous man may fall seven times And rise again, But the wicked shall fall by calamity.

1) All growing Christians are struggling Christians.

1 John 1:8 NKJV
8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
there are those who say that since they have become Christians they have not sin.
this is Just simply not true the apostle struggled with sin.
Romans 7:19–20 NKJV
19 For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice. 20 Now if I do what I will not to do, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me.
none of us are perfect on this side of heaven but we do grow and get better as we seek the Lord.
as this is a reality we must focus on what we do when we fail.

2. Repentance is the first step

Deuteronomy 10:12 NKJV
12 “And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways and to love Him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul,
Just swap Isreal with your name.
fear the Lord is not the same as the kind of fear that you feel for your life. nor the kind of fear that you feel about calamity. rather we are talking about the greatest RESPECT ONE CAN MUSTER.
Next we need to heal from our sins.
James 5:16 NKJV
16 Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
our sins do more than make us distant from God. they wound us. most of us don't understand that we need healing and forgiveness our sins.
Luke 19:8–10 NKJV
8 Then Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, “Look, Lord, I give half of my goods to the poor; and if I have taken anything from anyone by false accusation, I restore fourfold.” 9 And Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham; 10 for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.”
you might be sitting there saying “that's easy for you to say He didn't Cheat on, steal from, talk about. you! she didn't lie to manipulate.
Romans 12:18–21 NKJV
18 If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. 19 Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. 20 Therefore “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; If he is thirsty, give him a drink; For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head.” 21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

3. Take you place once again in the family of God.

Romans 11:29 NKJV
29 For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.
We are often surprised by the depth and darkness of our sin nature, God is not. Concerning your gifts and calling God made no mistakes.
Now, in order to be restored you must be submitted.
Galatians 6:1 NKJV
1 Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted.
Restoration takes time.
to be truly restored one has to go back to factory settings.
one needs to be ministered to by brothers or sisters.
the mind needs to be renewed
pride needs to be killed
discipleship needs to be engaged in.
this is not an overnight situation it takes time.
