I am back.

I was a DJ in high school at the wbfj FM Winston-Salem State. I got to pick all my own music say whatever I wanted to. No microphone. It's fantastic. There's a couple of matters of the heart that I want us to spend just a moment focusing on before he moved to the word the first is that a very beloved or beloved friend in the ark Ministry who's been with us 12 12 years Lazarus. It's 12 years longer than the horse would have had outside of God's mercy and favour. So we had 12 wonderful years the artist 12 wonderful years with Laz, but the Lord His plan for Lazarus here was was finished and we just praise God for the ministry that God did through Lazarus and we specially praise God for those that tirelessly cared for that horse for so long. So if you think about it pray for Sue and the other folks that care for those animals and just lift up their hearts in and encourage them other is that tomorrow is Memorial Day a day that our country sets aside to for us praise God for those men and women who are willing to pay that ultimate price.

Well just selflessly serve. Call is greater than themselves. So make sure you remember our veterans tomorrow, but specifically the veterans who did not come home. We have the awesome privilege of having many veterans in our congregation that that did come home. And so we will praise God for them. But especially those whose mission was completed elsewhere. So let's have a word of Prayer.

And a word from our woodpecker.

God we thank you and we praise you for a horse. How amazing are you how Sovereign Inglorious are you that you can further your kingdom that you can bring people near the gospel. You can reach special needs children. You can do so much through a horse. Thank you. We praise you for the life of of La Paz and I thank you for those that cared for him and were used by you and that horse to do amazing things to thank you Lord Jesus and we also thank you for work for the the men and women who have given their lives for our nation to help secure the freedom that we enjoy. Thank you God. Thank you for their lives. And I pray that we would never forget their service and that we would honor them and hold them close to our hearts and thank him. In your name, we do pray I'm in. We Are Back In Jonah this week will be finishing up Jonah next week but this week we are we are back in it we're back in at this is part 5 and did you know The goddess absolutely Sovereign over all things. Did you know that have you heard that did you know that God has a mighty compassion towards dramatically undeserving people know that did you know that God has an unwavering commitment to his own plan? Okay. And did you also know that God has a purpose and a power and a promise result of repentance? Those things are true. And where we've been in Jonah has helped to prove those things true where we've been so far in Jonah it is it is help make those themes those true really truly sing. At least it has in my own surprise study of Joan again. I'm just I'm so tickled that I got so caught off-guard with Jonah. Thank you. God last week was Heavy little complicated. I listen to it again. I don't like doing that but I did wasn't quite as convoluted as I feared but still it was I mean, it was a big chunk that we that we all had to chew chew through let's do a little bit of a adjustable cinematic recap here. God is committed to his own plan. Unwaveringly so and no Petty or selfish or fearful or bitter or faithless failure on our part. Will separate God from his free willed plan. For persons, and even for a people, we just we see that through Jonah he rebelled against God's call on his life to go to Nineveh and preach and for reasons, we'll get into mostly next week. He just said no, no not going to he refused and and and consequences came from his refusal. God moved in and through those consequences to save him from the sea and spin them back up on land and say okay now it's totally changed things up and do exactly what I told you to do at first. But we saw is that Joan was actually better equipped to do what God told him in the beginning after his Rebellion after his sinful Rebellion. He's better equipped to do what God called him to do that with those are big questions. How is it that God was able to use sin and Rebellion will the day easiest quickest most bold answer is Christ on the cross. That was wickedly sinful and rebellious.

But yet God used that sin and Rebellion for an amazing purpose that just blows our minds. Using evil to undo evil itself quote was memorized. I should it was really good having evil commit suicide. It was beautiful. It was amazing Jonas rebellion was used directly by God to make him a better prepared vessel and conduit that should give us such confidence. amen Are we sometimes wickedly rebellious and send. Byrne obstinate know where at Judah my youngest? I mean, he's brilliant responses. I don't want to right Like if you do not believe in original sin just spend time with the two or three or four year old crying in a crib right in Marin are trying to figure out who never been parents before before you took it out of the home from the hospital. I can be the ever jokester that with the nurse. I was like you guys got over these things or something cuz and they're like not get one and she like went off and got me with

Islands in the crib, right? She's supposed to be sleeping and she's crying now she's well and she's trying she's having a panic attack at a locker in a broom closet, you know, she's got to learn she's got to learn she got to learn it is sleep time. It is bedtime sleep time. She's nothing's wrong. Just joking. What if she's fine? She's fine. Just go in and check just kill it just go in and check and as soon as I open the door, and she sees me she's happy baby just manipulated me. I'm a grown man. I might not look like it at 22 323. What does a grown man? little creature manipulating me God cannot be manipulated praise God. If he can be manipulated or what?

Then we would be hopeless. God not only cannot be manipulated or thrown off course, we find looking backwards that even our rebellion and sin was on course according to his plan. Oh, really? Oh, really? You don't want to go to Napa. I'm going to make you an even better equipped profit to take that Jonah. Triangle Club Romeo Chevy Clifford, I'll call the great fish so I won't bother you up on a beach. manipulate me

and then Jonah arrives at Nineveh and he preaches that I mean. Yet forty days and Nineveh shall be overthrown. That's it. And that's it. I mean like I wouldn't even had to write that on my hand. Yeah. back in my youth ministry days people would thank me for a a sermon thank them and then they look down and see my hand. But my sermons were never that simple and usually a lot longer. Still working on that yet forty days and Nineveh shall be overthrown. The Hebrew word for overthrown is the exact same verb to describe what happened to Sodom and Gomorrah. Same plan, right turn the city to glass. That that was what Jonah was warning Nineveh was going to happen in 40 days. Nineveh is going to be destroyed. And how successful was he well and Jonah 3:5 and the people of Nineveh believed God. They called for a fast. Put on sackcloth.

And the greatest of them to the least of them. about to powerful prophet

But here's how you know the most powerful Prophets. They believe God they didn't believe Jonah they believed God. They knew that message was from God and not that man.

When people go straight to our Heavenly Father and just barely even notice the mouth speaking that's when you know, the spirit is truly moving and that's what that's what we pray hear. God speak through me if you will speak around me if you must but please speak and give us the ears to hear. None of it was given the ears to hear. and everyone from the greatest to the least of them believe God Jonah 3 starting at 8, but let man and Beast be covered with sap office the king talkin the original had the mayor let man and Beast be covered with sackcloth and let them call out my to lie to God let everyone turn from his evil way in from the violence that is in his hands who knows God may turn and relent and turn from his fears anchor so that we may not perish

He's he's just he's just he's just counting on maybe something. Let's do what's right, and maybe God will do some maybe he'll relent. Maybe he'll relent.

now on the first 10 Jonah 3 verse 10 When God saw what they did how they turned from their evil way God relented of the disaster that he said he would do to them and he did not do it. I'd say that was effective. That was some effective prophecy through Jonah. Would you not agree? And when we could just go right onto chapter 4 we could or we could just move right to the next passage and and you might not even notice that the Bible just laid a really difficult bump in the road for us. This is really difficult. I don't know if you noticed it. Here's a question. Was God going to destroy Nineveh or not?

Was God going to destroy Nineveh or not? The prophet said yet forty days and then if it will be overthrown same language fire from heaven consumed Nineveh Nineveh done. The Profit Reddit they believe God that it's going to happen.

There's a problem that yes, and no answer that question. There's a problem that yes, and no present. If God wasn't going to destroy Nineveh. It was a prophet lion.

What? Yes, God was going to destroy Nineveh within did God not know that Nineveh was going to repent.

Did God not know that none of it was going to repent so so. Had like no recall the the eye CVS the intercontinental ballistic angels. can soap me right there like they're on the way angels are on the way right fire and brimstone in hand. And got it, like you know.

would you say time it was it was it was a private line. Wasn't to destroy Nineveh or was God surprised when they repented any any had to relent of the destruction coming. Let's talk to me.

Another question does God change his mind? Does God change his mind? Let's let's go back to the example of of Sodom. It is the classic example of God changing his mind or not. It's in Genesis Genesis 18 starting in verse 20. Genesis 18 starting in verse 20

Three men came to Abraham and Abraham. Welcome them as big as a good host. One of them seems to be a little different than the other two week we learned this is probably Jesus color. Christophany. Is it the pre incarnate appearance of Jesus of a supernatural manifestation of Jesus and in to Angels And they're hanging out with Abraham and then an inverse 20 then the Lord said because the outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is great and their sin is very grave. I will go down to see where they have done all together according to the outcry that is come to me. And if not, I will know so I think Jesus to say I'm going to see this for myself. I'm going to check this out and I've heard the cry and I want to see it.

To the men turn from their went toward Sodom, but Abraham stood before the Lord. Angels go ahead. I Think. Jesus is hanging back. Then Abraham Drew near and said, will you indeed sweep away the righteous with the wicked Abraham is saying that doesn't seem like a perfect righteous. God to me. Does it seem like it would be right for you to wipe away the righteous along with the wicked. Is that really what you're going to do? Suppose there are fifty righteous within the city. Will you then sweep away the place and not spirit for the fifty righteous who are in it mean like fifty fifty righteous people in Sodom and you're in you're still going to obliterate it that doesn't seem right. Why would you do that fifty righteous people far be it from you to do such a thing to put the righteous to death with the wicked so that the righteous Fair as the wicked Barbie that from you shall not the judge of all the Earth do what is just

I mean Abrams bold right when you got to give him that he's Bowl. and the Lord said

if I find at Sodom fifty righteous in the city, I will spare the whole place. for their sake Questions to ask a lot of times why do bad things happen to good people the better question that my dad to ask and and got me thinking when I was younger is why do good things happen to bad people?

Right Abraham's just you know inverting this is so there's fifty righteous and and you're going to destroy the whole city in those 50 or are going to be are going to be taken out.

Right within then God says alright fine if I find fifty righteous everyone gets paired. 15 question

Abrams says in verse 28 supposed 5 of the fifty righteous are lacking. Will you destroy the whole city for lack of 5? He said I will not destroy it if I find 45 there and yes Abraham, I can do matte. Again, you spoke to him and said it supposed 40 are found there. He answered for the sake of 40. I will not do it. Then. He said oh let not the Lord be angry and I will speak suppose 30 are found there. He answered I will not do it if I find 30, this is almost sounds like a dr. Seuss book. Would you could you if they're 30?

Not wouldn't I couldn't even if they're dirty.

forget He said behold, I have undertaken to speak to the Lord suppose 20 are found their dancer for the sake of 20. I will not destroy it. He said oh let not the Lord be angry and I will speak again. But this once suppose 10 are found there. He answered for the sake of pain. I will not destroy it. I think Abraham missed his calling. I think Abraham would have made a fine used camel salesman cuz he just talked God down. Right from absolute total Destruction to if I find 10 people who are righteous. I will spare the city. I mean, you know Aya prayers are effective or is Bulbasaur something but man Abraham just change God's mind.

Maybe.

Sodom was completely obliterated. Completely obliterated cuz guess what not even ten righteous people were found. There Were Ten righteous people couldn't be found Right, there were four that were spared. But even those for refused to leave his lot in his wife and his two daughters and they refuse to leave. Write a lot was wicked because you didn't believe the Angels warning and pleading Lot's wife was wicked because she disobeyed and looked back when they were being, you know, dragged out of the city and lot's daughters were Wicked well.

Because what I'll tell you when you're older.

Not one righteous person was found even if Abraham said what if just one righteous person was found. No one was found righteous. For by the grace of God work schrag from the city and spared but not because of their righteousness.

but was God lying when he said if I find 10 righteous, I'll spare the city know that wasn't lying at all when I was in 5th grade my buddy and I Lucas Shrum and if Luke if you hear this is the greatest Small World experience of of of world history, I believe but Lucas Shrum and I we decided that we wanted to build an airplane cuz we were we were tired of waiting to get our Naval aviator Wings cuz of course we were going to we were going to wear me to go to Top Gun and we were going to Stick it to the Russians or something. I'm not sure what we're going to do. We're tired of waiting. So we were going to build around airplane. We had plans and everything. It was super legit and I approached my mom. She was washing dishes I have this is burning my memory I said bomb so Luke and I are building an airplane. I know that sounds crazy, but we've got plans and everything is super legit. And when we build the airplane, I need to know how far away am I allowed to fly? And she said I don't know Tom that's really exciting about the airplane is for the cloud like to see the plans. How far would you like to fly? And if I mean what if I just flew like over the church and its property? Would that be okay? And she said yeah, that'd be fine. I said what you know Luke's house is just so you know a couple neighborhoods down. Could I fly to Luke's house? And she said, you know to school in the morning. Could we fly to school and she's like, yeah, Tommy you can yes, that would be okay was my mom lying.

She just knew there was zero chance. I actually know my mom and if we built an airworthy craft. She would have agreed. She would have allowed me that you don't know my name. She would have allowed as you would have been so overwhelmed with pride or fear for my life would have just

She will let me.

Abraham didn't change God's mind God's mind was not changed about Sodom and Gomorrah. All right with all this presents a problem still for us because of what the prophet Jonah said in 40 days, then it will be overthrown. Okay Prophet Jeremiah and we have to scoot forward a bit. But if you're talking about the Heart character of God, it never changes never has changed never will change right in in. This is what Jeremiah learns about the Heart character nature God looking Jeremiah chapter 18 starting a verse 1 The word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord arise go down to The Potter's House and there I will let you hear my words. Now Jeremiah is not going to go see mr. Who owns the bank in Bedford Falls? He's going to The Potter's House is the man who makes Pottery and I took some pottery lessons when I was younger. Hold on a second.

It's pretty gifted Potter. But you know, I had so many other things. I was amazing and I just didn't have room in the schedule to continue pursuing it. Jeremiah was going to go down to The Potter's House. Now. This would be curious request of God, you know hate go to the dude who makes the pottery. Okay? Okay, and there I will let you hear my words first three star went down. So I went down to The Potter's House and there he was working at his wheel cases wheel spinning you can imagine it right don't imagine that scene in ghost. Imagine like a perfectly innocuous guy making a pot on a wheel and the vessel. He was making a clay with spoiled in The Potter's hands of the Potter messed up. And he reworked it into another vessel as it seemed good to the Potter to do then the word of the Lord came to me. O House of Israel can I not do with you as this Potter has done declares the Lord behold like the clay in The Potter's hand. So are you in my hand? Oh House of Israel. If it anytime I declare concerning a nation or a kingdom and guess what? This would include the United States of America may be a sober addition here for us this morning.

Sezam I lost my space. Everytime I declare for 17747 that I will pluck up and break down and destroy it and if that Nation concerning which I've spoken turns from its evil, I will relent of the disaster that I intended to do to it. And if it anytime I declare concerning a nation or a kingdom check this out even more sobering for the United States of America. And if at any time, I declare concerning a nation or a kingdom that I will build and plant it. And if it does is evil in my sight not listening to my voice then I will relent of the good. That I had intended to do to it. Now. Therefore say to the mint of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem. The dust says the Lord behold I am shaping disaster against you and devising a plan against you return everyone from his evil way and amend your ways and Jordi I will destroy you. Unless you right now about face. repenting me turn and go back.

Towards the God who made you toward righteousness and away from wickedness. If you don't I will destroy you.

From my ESV Study Bible direct quote hear this from a temporal perspective. God responds to Human Action from an eternal perspective. God chooses the means human repenting as well as the end Divine relenting God is absolutely Sovereign over.

All things he's Sovereign over repentance is Sovereign over destruction. It's all through the Bible. Maybe God will grant repentance.

And he will relent from the evil. God is just and he must destroy. Ultimately he must destroy what is false. What is wicked? What is sinful? He has to. but yet he's also gracious and is it if his if if if people kiss people ninevites ninevites repented and he relented it's almost like God has an unwavering commitment to his own plan and he has a purpose in a power and promise result of repentance.

There's another way to look at this as well back back in back in June of the problem that we have. The prophet says in 40 days. God will destroy will undo will wipe off the the map what will melt down then if I he's going to do it in 40 days.

Another way to look at that.

Because if that if that intellectual exercise in in Genesis and Jeremiah those case studies about how God works in his eternal plan interacting with Man's Free Will if that doesn't satisfy all of your yeah butts and yeah I get that should just be a word. Let's Cynthia write that down. Yeah, but it's one. It's y e a h b u t s

It happens to me all the time if I'm listening to someone. Yeah, but keep me in your head. There's another way to look at this. Okay, if if those case studies in Genesis and Jeremih Don't satisfy. There's another way to look at this exchange k Jonah says to this pagan people, right? I mean they worship is manfish faults. God Dagon is violent people violent and Wicked Ways this this Pagan man fish worshipping violent people.

John says repent then they did what what came naturally they did according to the keg they bounded put on fat sack clock They Mourn debate de agonize date that they'd be sweated to cried over their wickedness. Maybe God will relent look that Pagan Wicked violent Nineveh. That was their culture. They were steeped in it. And what God is saying by sending the prophet just like he sent in Converse with Abraham that same word same destruction limit. There is no righteous people and then oven unders. No righteous people. That's who they were. They were Wicked that was their culture.

And what happened to that culture? It was obliterated. It was completely undone. It was overthrown. By their repentance by their Universal repentant that changed them as a people. Old dinner but was dead new none of it was born. You could say that we who know Christ were obliterated. It's like it's like they're righteous justice of God says Tommy. Are you going to completely overthrow you I'm going to completely destroy. I'm going to melt you down to glass.

And then I'm going to reshape you.

Then I'm going to reshape you. That was God's will that was his plan was to destroy me and remake me through my repentance. Hey. Only will to the end. He Wills the means I Repent God I repent.

Old manager is gone.

Which show you have already quoted from this passage before I can't remember which week it was who let me show you how clearly how completely that conversion of Minima of Nineveh was in Matthew chapter 12 in verse 38, then some of the scribes and the Pharisees answered him saying teacher we wish to see a sign from you but he answered them and evil and adulterous generation seeks for a sign but no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah for just as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish. So will the son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the Earth. The men of Nineveh will rise up at the judgment. With this generation and condemn it. like I could speak for another 45 minutes on how voraciously Israel's hatred was for Nineveh. Their hatred was absolute towards none of us. They hated men of Nineveh were worthless dogs of people. Is there an actually fell back into sin? After their Mexican, but they fell back into their sin and they're in their Pagan violent ways. But Jesus says the generation that repented and Jonas Day. They're going to judge you at judgement. They're going to look down at you.

. That's how that's how complete the conversion of none of it was those who bowed their knee and Jonas Day? Will look down on you at judgement before I woke up this morning right before I woke up. I had a I had a like acid reflux. I'm just I've not struggled through this before. It's like 80. This is just burning terrible in my throat and that's how it would feel. that's how it would feel to be told that I'm invite was going to participate in judgment against you like

but that's how detestable it would be but that's how complete their conversion was.

God did that by telling them forty days. I'm going to destroy you.

amazing So you'd have to rank Jonah like pretty high in the pantheon of prophets write it and let you know like it if there's if there's a tournament bracket for the prophet like who ends up in the middle of the champion. It would have to be Jonah. No other Prophet even comes close to Universal repentance. from a one-sentence sermon I know that a lot a lot a lot of people miss church, which that we could get accomplished that much in one sentence.

Shows like up there, right? You can even compare him to that that garbage prophet Isaiah hiker. He was I was just total washout disaster. That's why we never talked about him since he was such a complete failure. Let's look at let's look at that. Loser, Isaiah chapter 1 starting a verse 1 in the year that King Uzziah died. I saw the Lord sitting upon a throne. High and lifted up and the train of his robe filled the temple above him stood the seraphim each had six wings with two we covered his face with two week of speech with to keep flu and one call to another and said holy holy holy is the Lord of hosts. That means holy Times Holy time solely.

The whole earth is full of his glory. The foundations of the threshold Shook at the voice of him who called and the house was filled with smoke and I said, woe is me for I am lost some translation safe. I'm ruined or I am undone.

Prime a man of unclean lips and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips for my eyes have seen the king the Lord of hosts. Then one of the seraphim flew to me having in his hand a burning cold that he had taken with tongs from The Altar and he touched my mouth and said behold. This has touched your lips. Your guilt is taken away and you send the tone before. Isaiah's commission from the Lord is too heading in my Bible. versade And I heard the voice of the Lord saying. Home shall I send? And who will go for us? Then I said here am I send me? man Would love to stop there. Preachers love to stop there cuz boom into the altar call. Will you respond? Will you stand up and say Here I Am send me the music swells. Or we could keep reading.

Here am I send me?

And the Lord said go and say to this people keep on hearing but do not understand keep on seeing but do not perceive make the heart of this people doll and their ears heavy and blind their eyes less. They see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand what their hearts and turn and be healed cuz that's what God would have to do if they did right. We've already talked about that. We already established that verse 11 then I said, How long O Lord cuz if I might say the profit I go.

For how long? before the twist ending and the

for how long O Lord and he said until cities lie waste without inhabitant and houses without people and the land is a desolate waste.

Then we in the Sarasota High.

Isaiah was a complete failure. No one repented. Write the way we Sports things the way we keep track. It's how we keep track of how successful at churches or not, right if they're six people failure 6012 That's how we keep score. So Isaiah is a complete and utter failure. No one repents. No one bowels Denis.

What's his pitch bad was it was just not as good as I mean, could Joan at maybe set up a little seminar Reno? Isaiah could have come and and and learned at the feet of the master.

What does pitch battle was he not living his best life that he not read Seven Habits of Highly Effective prophets, or how to win Nations and influence Kings.

Why do we not regard Isaiah as a complete failure? Why why would we not ranked Jonah so much higher above I say what? Why don't we consider Isaiah to be a complete failure?

Because failing is what he was called to do and he did it. Faithfully He did with the Lord asked of him Faithfully. From God's perspective Isaiah was a success because he was faithful.

God doesn't call us to success. He calls us to faithfulness. Just be faithful with what God has given you the words. God has given you the time God has given you the family. God has given you the household. God has given you the money that God has given you be faithful with that and God will count you successful.

Because you are faithful.

The only way we fail is if we fail to be faithful.

Don't let our scoreboard measure the day.

but his

we just must be faithful with what is lay down in front of us. Familiar passage Hebrews 12 verse 1 therefore since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses. Let us also lay aside every weight and sin which clings so closely and let us run with endurance.

The race that is set before us.

And I'm not out of line to say soup run the race that got to set before you.

Run the race that God has set before you Nancy you run that race. Don't say that, Mom, but that wife. Doing so much better. She brings so much longer your race. You run yours.

REI run your race run the race that God has set before you not check it out though Church. We're running together. Right. I'm running my race with you with you with you with you with you. We are running the race. Let us run the race set before us. And the only question we need to ask are we being faithful and if we are? Am I winning that race?

Let us be faithful. What's the greater context of this verse Hebrews? 12:1 is awesome. It's beautiful cloud of witnesses. What was the cloud of witnesses will Hebrews 11 is a very long chapter and I'm going to read it all but I am going to I'm going to pick you up right towards the end of Hebrews. 11:11 is like it's like a it's like a what's the thing with the Hall of Fame Hall of Fame of Faith read it all please you'll be blessed by it. But we're going to pick up in verse 32 of Hebrews 11, and then we're just going to keep running right into Hebrews 12 and M. See if it rings more true or more powerful. Excuse me.

So Hebrews 11 starting verse 32. You miss all these people who live by faith first 32 and what more shall I say 4 time would fail me to tell if Gideon and Barack consent and Samson and Jessica. David and Samuel in the prophets who through space conquered kingdoms enforce Justice obtained promises stop the hours of lions the power of fire escape the edge of the sword. We're made strong at a weakness became Mighty and War put foreign armies to fight. This is fun. This is great women received back their dead by Resurrection. somewhere tortured

refusing to accept release so that they might rise again to a better life others suffered mocking and flogging and even chains and imprisonment. They were stoned they were Sonic they were killed with the sword. They went about in skins of sheep and goats destitute Afflicted mistreated of whom the world was not worthy wandering about in deserts and mountains and in dens and caves of the earth and all these though commended through their face did not receive what was promised since got it provided something better for us that apart from us. They should not be made perfect. Jesus founder and Perfecter of our faith

therefore since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses. Let us also lay aside every weight and sin which clings so closely and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us. Looking to Jesus the founder and Perfecter of our faith who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross despising the shame and is seated at the right hand of the Throne of God. What does that mean? Does that mean that those who conquered kingdoms and received back their dead for the faithful ones and those that were stoned and destitute were failures. No, it means they all were more than conquerors. Because they Faithfully ran the race that was set before them. Regardless what that race was what? What did they shut the mouths of lions or were eaten by them? They were faithful.

They conquered. Well done well done.

The only way we fail is if we fail to be faithful.

So where does that place Jonah? In spite of none of us repentance or or or or because of it. Where do we place Jonah? That's next week. That's our conclusion of Jonah did Jonas finish the race or did he

fall on his face We'll find out next week once you pray with me.

Got on I'm not Jonah. I don't have to run his race.

You have called me to be faithful to mine. Help me. I need you.

Hebrews tells us that this race is run by faith. I need some more of that.

We learn from the fusions that even Faith itself is a gift gift me more. please give me more. Apparently I have more race to run. I'm not with you yet. And I'm going to need Faith to run that race. I want to be found faithful. I want a church to be found faithful.

Yes, I want to I want to run my race Faithfully. I want our race to be run Faith leave cuz you cuz you do not call me that to race alone nor anyone else here in this room.

in the sound of my voice in my

dumb picture

I give us the faith to to be faithful.
