God tells us that to effectively pray each must "know the plague of his own heart." But Scripture also tells us that our own hearts are "deceitfully wicked" and asks the painful question: "Who can know it?" This morning we consider Scripture's teaching of our tendency to a deceived and idolatrous heart and ask: How can a deceived heart "monitor" it's own condition, much less, see real change come to it?
