1 John 4:12

NLT: No one has ever seen God.

But if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love has been brought to full expression through us.

*God is not visible *to us*.**

John says this 5 times!

\\ \\ *God’s desire is relayed* through influence**.

And not just God.

\\ \\ **Influence *is manifested through* willing participants**.

Spirit of Truth ~/ lies,** Who                                                                                                           motivates you?* \\ *His special Agapê** That's the type, God's love for us*

[His Spirit?

It is alêtheia~/Truth which enables agapê~/love]

*Real Love for each other gives God legs**.*

*Now God IS visible.*

*Just as Jesus made Him visible.

\\ \\ **Making Him visible** We are the **Body** of Christ, Christ was the exact                                                             represtentation of the Father making Him visible, if we're                    Christ's Body we make God the Father visible to all who look at us.

*Who motivates you?*

1 John 4:14b & 16 ~~

14b Father sent his Son to be the Savior of the world.

16 We know how much God loves us, [From This]… God is love, and all who *live in love live in God*, and God lives in them.

15 All who proclaim that Jesus is the Son of God have God living in them, and they live in God.

Agree with words oJmologe>w homogenus or homo & logos.

Jesus as the Logos is the perfect rep of God Then our Word must be the same.

This is *binding a speaker to his word* as in a solemn promise

James 219You believe that there is one God.

Good!

Even the demons believe that—and shudder.

2 John* *9Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God; whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son.

What is the teaching?

*Orthodoxy *and* **manifested love*.

*1-** Allowing us to receive His love** His love **heals** us so we can accept His love.

\\ 2- **Allowing us to love Him** We can't love God in our flesh, it's impossible.

\\ 3- **Allowing us to love each other** With the overtime lies we can't love                                                                        unconditionally \\ \\ *

*This is obedience and in action it is pleasing to God**.*

*How does belief work?*

*1.    **Holy Spirit prompt*

*2.    **Recognition of Truth about God & self*

*3.    **Faith, emotional (soul) surrender*

*4.    **Holy Spirit revelation (veil lifted)*

*5.    **Acceptance, intellectual (spirit) surrender*

*6.    **Holy Spirit training (maturation)*

*7.    **Understanding, physical (flesh) surrender*

*8.    **Confirmation (His presence)*

9.   *Assurance*

*What is the Test?

Once again it is:*

*1- Orthodox belief commensurate with His Grace.*

*2- His love in us*

*3- His love spent through us*

 

John says all those who are *genuine Christians accept the Truth of the apostolic witness*, which is the New Testament Bible.

The Old Testament authority is thoroughly established also, therefore the Bible you hold in your hands is that message from God that all those born of God listen to because it is the voice of the Word of God.

Galatians 1:6-9 ~~

I am amazed that you are so quickly deserting Him who called you by the grace of Christ, for a different gospel; which is /really/ not another; only there are some who are disturbing you and want to distort the gospel of Christ.

But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to what we have preached to you, he is to be accursed!

As we have said before, so I say again now, if any man is preaching to you a gospel contrary to what you received, he is to be accursed!

*Biblical Christianity* is not the same thing as the religion of distorted christianity taught and practiced by many in church today.

How many so-called, "christians" are *practicing love*?

How many have really examined their faith and are *still convinced* they are going to be with God?

 

1 John 4:17-21 ~~

NASB: 17By this, love is perfected with us, so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment; because as He is, so also are we in this world.

18There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love.

19We love, because He first loved us.

20If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen.

21And this commandment we have from Him, that the one who loves God should love his brother also.

Because we *live in love we are already* with God!

 

Why would the *current relationship with God be any different after you die*?

Because we love others unconditionally we know we are together with God therefore we cannot possibly fear death or judgment!

That is God's love perfected, i.e. accomplishing it's divine purpose.

If love is perfected in us we have complete assurance as Paul says,

 

 

Romans 8:1-2 ~~

 Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.

That's what this means… */IF/* we have the Spirit of Truth which enables Love we have no fear!
