Fruit of Discipleship

False Sense of Inclusion “come to his baptism”.
The Pharisees and Sadducees who varied in their beliefs about Judaism arrogantly came believing their righteousness made them sufficient for Baptism.
2. Fatalistic Insult “O generation of vipers”. I.E. Dangerous, Deceptive and Deadly.
a viper is any member of the solenoglyph snakes, including rattlesnakes, adders, water moccasins, and copperheads. They are more inclined to blend in with the surrounding brush, rocks or ground cover when being approached by a predator than to slither away.
Matthew 12: 33-34

Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.

34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

Matthew 23:33 KJV 1900
33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?
3. Fleeing Irony “who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?”
4. Fruitful Indications “Bring forth therefore fruits”
Matthew 7:16 KJV 1900
16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
Matthew 7:20 KJV 1900
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
John ends this verse by commanding that our lives should reflect a change of the fruit(actions) seen in our lives.
Story: Welsh Revival (in Wales starting in 1904 by Evan Roberts saw over 100,000 people saved in about a years time.)

Familiar Defense

Failings Inside “say within yourselves” The mind of man will always seek to justify himself worthy with various plea’s of defense. We may sincerely believe what we have thought within ourselves to satisfy our faith. The fact is that anything outside of the Scriptural Plan of Salvation is sincerely wrong. And at best a plea of insanity.
Family Inclusion “We have Abraham to our father”.
Father’s Insignificant’s “of the stones” It is true, being born Jewish makes Abraham your father. Being born again by the blood of Jesus makes God your father.
John 1:11–15 KJV 1900
11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not. 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. 15 John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.

Final Determination

Force Implemented “axe is laid”
Fall Intended “unto the root”
Fruitless Indication “bringeth not forth fruit”
Fiery Implications “cast into the fire”.
