I am continuing the 7 places Jesus shed His blood for our TOTAL REDEMPTION & VICTORY
So Far We’ve Seen The 1st Two Places ....
1st Place Jesus Shed His Blood Was The Garden - Won Back Our Will Power!
2nd Place Jesus Shed His Blood Was The Stripes On His Back - Won Back Our Healing
3rd Place Jesus Shed His Blood ....
CROWN OF THORNS -- WON BACK OUR PROSPERITY
CROWN OF THORNS -- WON BACK OUR PROSPERITY
In the very beginning -- In The Garden -- Adam & Eve "LIVED IN" the blessings of God -- Total Prosperity -- which is provision, health, happiness, etc ...
BUT -- cause of Adam’s Willful, Knowledgeable Sin -- the curse on the land came ...
GENESIS 3:17-19 (NKJV) Then to Adam He said, "Because you have heeded the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree of which I commanded you, saying, 'You shall not eat of it': "Cursed is the ground for your sake; In toil you shall eat of it All the days of your life. Both thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you, And you shall eat the herb of the field. In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread Till you return to the ground, For out of it you were taken; For dust you are, And to dust you shall return."

God CURSED the ground with "Thorns & Thistles" -- BUT -- JESUS CHRIST REDEEMED US FROM THE CURSE!
LISTEN -- we’ve got to understand that working is NOT cursed -- the land you have your business on -- the land you live in -- the land where you work IS NOT CURSED!
Jesus broke the CURSE of Poverty thru the "Crown Of Thorns Placed On His Head" -- When those "Thorns & Thistles" pierced His Head & Blood Flowed -- He redeemed Us From The Curse Of Poverty!
JOHN 10:10 (NASB77) "The thief comes only to steal, and kill, and destroy; I came that they might have life, and might have it abundantly.

JESUS WAS NEVER POOR! At birth He was given very expensive gifts -- Frankincense, Myrrh & Gold -- which helped support the family on their fleeing Herod’s Death Squads -- Helped start carpentry businesses everywhere they lived til they were able to come home & no one even noticed Judas was stealing from the treasury cause there was always plenty!
JESUS BECAME POOR FOR OUR SAKES THAT WE WOULD BE REDEEMED BACK TO THE TOTAL PROVISIONS OF GOD -- GOD’S FIRST INTENTION!
JESUS was poor in comparison to what He Left Behind In Heaven!
MARK 7:8-13 -- tells us -- our very religious thinking & traditions can make thw Word of God of No Effect for our lives in any area we fall for religion -- instead of believing & embracing God’s Word & His Original Intentions for US TO WALK INTO & APPREHEND!
The Devil is always out to "AMBUSH" your thinking -- to keep you from attaining the very best God Intended You To Possess For Your Life NOW!! While Your Feet Are Still Down On The Ground Walking Around!!
GOD IS NOT ON A BUDGET WITH YOU -- He has More Than Enough To Bless You & Get More Thru You To Reach The Unchurched!
SO -- What Do We Need To Change About Our Thinking?

God’s A Good God - Devil’s A Bad Devil / Everything Good Comes From God - Everything Bad Comes From The Devil & My Bad Choices!
James 1:13-17 (NASB77) Let no one say when he is tempted, "I am being tempted by God"; for God cannot be tempted by evil, and He Himself does not tempt anyone. But each one is tempted when he is carried away and enticed by his own lust. Then when lust has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and when sin is accomplished, it brings forth death. If Money & Prosperity were Evil -- then God never would have given us PROMISES of BLESSINGS when we GIVE HIM OUR TITHES & OFFERINGS & TO THE POOR!
I Believe We Miss It Cause We Can’t Really Make Up Our Mind Concerning -- Am I Worthy To Receive God’s Blessings & We Also Question His Promises When We Don’t Receive Them Right Away!!

Prosperity Is Part Of God’s Redemption -- Bringing Us Back To His Origianl Intention For Man In The Garden -- Total Provision!!

Do we have to work? YES
In this world it is a day’s wages for a day’s work! HOWEVER -- God multiplies our work.
Even after Christ’s Sacrifice On The Cross for Our Redemption -- the Holy Ghost said;

Living By Faith Does Not Mean You Don’t Have To Work - Living By Faith Is Working & Believing God Will Bless Your Labors!

I’ve seen guys who must have ate a Real Big Bowl Of Spiritual Stupidity on a daily basis -- they would lay around on their lazy rears telling people they were living by faith, expecting others to take care of them -- THEY WERE LAZY!!!!
AND -- What kind of selfish life is that -- not helping provide for yourself, your family, your church, reaching the unchurched -- IT IS NOT FAITH / IT IS LAZY & SELFISH!
In the garden -- Adam was living in Abundance but he still had to take care & tend the garden -- God multiplied His labor! Before the curse of the land, God blessed his work & it yielded great abundance!
Once the land was cursed -- Adam had to work harder in order to barely get by.
We don’t have to barely get by thru our work anymore -- change the way you THINK -- You are redeemed & so are your labors
SEE YOURSELF, YOUR BUSINESS, YOUR JOB YIELDING YOU MORE BECAUSE OF YOUR LABORS!!
God’s Prosperity for Israel In The Desert was ....
Manna to eat - Sometime fresh meat -- Water to Drink
Clothes & Sandals lasted for the 40 yrs of wandering
Clouds to cover them & lead them by day
Fire to warm them & lead them by night
What Else Do We Need To Change About Our Thinking?

Blessing of God is not JUST what lies ahead of you - BUT -- also what is NOT overtaking you!

Have you ever been in the situation where you get some money ahead & something happens to take it away from your original intention for it?
Car breaks down - someone gets sick - pipes bust open - washer goes down - ?
IF -- you are truly & honestly - without cutting corners by being greedy & selfish on God - GIVING YOUR TITHES & OFFERINGS
YOU can ask God to "Rebuke The Devourer For You"
Devil causes your car to break down or blow an engine - God rebuke him & get me in a better one!
God will rebuke the devil, tell him to back off & provide for you on top of that attack!

Linda & I have always believed & practiced being generous in our lives with everything that concerns our lives -- sometimes to our families shaking their heads -- BUT -- God has always been more than faithful & has increased us - Provided for us - EVERYTIME!!

Great Tithers -- Generous Givers -- The Best Tippers -- Excellence Even In What We Buy -- Good Deals On Good Stuff -- Not Good Deals For The Sake Of Good Deals For Trash!

When Traci wanted to go to College -- Both of them -- we had no idea how? But I would always tell her just like I tell my kids to this day about things -- "I DON’T KNOW HOW BUT GOD WILL PROVIDE -- ONE WAY OR ANOTHER!" AND HE ALWAYS DID & STILL DOES -- CAUSE I KNOW HE LOVES TO PROVIDE FOR THOSE WHO FAVOR HIS RIGHTEOUS CAUSE!!

If you are "Bound" financially -- you have very little to provide substance for your family or the church
If the church is subsequently "Bound" financially -- we can’t provide the substance for you & your family to increase nor send people out to expand God’s Kingdom nor bless the gifts that labor faithfully for us nor to fulfill the mission of God!
GOD ISN’T CALLING US TO TAKE A
"VOW OF POVERTY"
BUT HE IS CALLING US TO TAKE A
"VOW OF PRIORITY"!
As We Are Faithful In Our Finances & Resources For His Kingdom -- God Will Multiply & Pour Out More Than We Ever Thought We Could Ever Possess!!
WE WILL SHOUT FOR JOY!!
Poverty & Lack Is No Longer A Part Of Your Life -- It Was Broken When The Crown Of Thorns Were Driven Into Jesus’ Head & His Blood Poured Down His Body!
