REV. 19:10; 22:8‑9 I'VE FELT IIPRESSED TO TEACH ON THE SUBJECT OF WORSHIP EVER SINCE WED. MORNING. IN KENNETH HAGIN'S BOOK PLANS, PURPOSES, & PURSUITS HE WROTE THAT THE LORD APPEARED TO HIM & THE LORD SAID "MY PEOPLE KNOW A LITTLE ABOUT PRAISE BUT ALMOST NOTHING ABOUT WORSHIP. THIS MESSAGE MAY NOT BE VERY LONG BUT IT'S WHAT I FEEL WH AT THE LORD WANTS TAUGHT.

I. BE A WORSHIP OF GOD

          A.  EX. 20:4‑5    THE LAST PART OF  VERSE 5  TELLS US THAT THERE CAN BE A CURSE UPON US IF WE B OW DOWN TO ANY OTHER. (4TH & 5TH GENERATION) BUT LOOK AT  VERSE 6 .)‑‑‑‑

          B.  LUKE 4:7‑8    JESUS EVEN TOLD US TO WORSHIP ONLY GOD.

             1.  LOTICE AGAIN WHAT WAS SAID IN  VERSE 7.

             2. THE DEVIL IS VERY SUBTLE. HE DOESN'T COME TO MOST PEOPLE & ASK THEM TO WORSHIP HIM. HE GETS THEM TO WORSHIP SOMETHING. MAYBE THAT SOMETHING MIGHT BE YOUR SPOUSE, YOUR HOUSE, YOUR CAR, YOUR JOB, YOU a comma.

               a. T word "and" is joining t 2 thoughts together. These 2 Vs were meant to go together.

               b. Notice that in (V 25) Jesus said that if you forgive someone that may have done something against you, that puts you in a place to be forgiven of your sins.

                    i. If you're not forgiving someone then that puts you in a dangerous place.

ii. It's putting you in a place of God's judgement.

           2. Really it's a sin to be holding grudges against someone.

               a. You need to forgive that person so that you can be  forgiven of holding grudges.

      B. When you here people talk, many times you can get t impression that they realize they must forgive, but you know that there not going to forget it.

           1. You have to let it drop, you have to forget it, as though it never happened.

               a. T AMP Bible says, "And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against any one, forgive him & let it drop."

           2. PHIL 3:13

               a. Paul told us to forget those things that are behind.

                    i. What are some of those things that we are to forget about.

ii. What about you past failures? Forget about them

& go on w/ God. "Reaching forth unto those things which are before."

iii. What about past success? Don't live in t things that you've accomplished. There not going to do you any good.

Don't live in t past. Paul said, "Reaching forth unto those things which are before."

                         a. Besides it wasn't you that accomplished anything, it was t Lord in you.

Iv. Paul told us to forget those things that are behind. We're also to forgive & forget when we've been offended or hurt.

               a. Sometimes you here people say, "Well, I just can't  forgive them for what they did."

               b. Jesus face t ultimate wrong. He was unjustly put on that cross, yet from that cross He said, "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do."     (LUK 23:34)

                    i. What have people done to you? How have they offended you? Is it worse than what they did to Jesus?
