Last week we looked at “The Story” out of Luke 2:1-20 and preached from the very familiar Christmas story. In that message, I mentioned that the birth of Jesus Christ, as crucial and miraculous of a story that it may be, is mentioned in only a very select few passages of scripture. But after Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist in the Jordan River, and after He went into the wilderness for 40 days to be tempted of Satan, His ‘story’ continues.
