The Pharisees have accused Jesus of trying to nullify the Law of Moses. Jesus is teaching that the Message of the Kingdom Gospel, which is Messianic, is superior and fulfills what Moses wrote about. The issue will be this; how do the Jewish people receive this Message of the Kingdom Gospel and the great compassion that is contains? In "Fulfilling the Law" (Matthew 5:17-20) Jesus tells us how we are to do that...through Him.
