We've been talking about t *VISION *for our *church.
*In t last 2 weeks we've talked about *Prayer* being a Vision for this Church, *& Praise &  worship.

   *I.*
We want to see people *enter* *into Praise & Worship,* *not just here* in church but during t times that you're not here.
*A.*
At t most you're only here *3 times a week,* that's *not enough *time to be *worshiping *our Lord.

So *our vision* is for all of us to be that *true worshipper  of God.*
 
       *B.*
It's also *equally important* to us to see people *enter into  prayer.*

Yes, we prayer here, but that not enough.
*a.* We need to *spend quality time* in *prayer* w~/ t Father every day.
*b.* We brought out t fact that people always want to do t *minimum.*
*i.* Minimum in there *job*, minimum in there *work for  God,* minimum in there *church attendance,* minimum in there *giving,* & minimum in there *prayer life.*
*ii.
(MAT 6:33)* Says, "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."

In *(Mark 14:37‑38 KJV)* It says, "And he cometh, and findeth them sleeping, and saith unto Peter, Simon, sleepest thou?
couldest not thou watch one hour?
(38) Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation.
The spirit truly {is} ready, but the flesh {is} weak.

Jesus was telling His disciples to *stay awake & pray  one hour.*
*i.* Is that to much for t Lord to ask of us to pray *1 hour a day?*

T spirit is willing but t flesh is weak.

T *3rd part of our VISION *for t Church is for *all* of us to be *filled w~/ t Word of God.*
 
       *A.*
T *Word* can *accomplish* in your life *all *that t person of *Jesus  can.

            *1.*
*(John 1:1)* says, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."
 
                *a.* *(V 14)* says, "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us."
*2.*
Your *attitude* *about* t *Word *is your *attitude about Jesus, *because *Jesus is t Word.
B.* T *Word *of God is *referred *as *water,* *bread, milk, & meat *‑‑ It's what you *need *to *grow spiritually.*
*C.*
It is inspired by God.
 
            *1.*
*1PE 1:23‑25*
 
                *a.* Peter said that we are *"BORN AGAIN, not of  corruptible seed."*
*i.* *"Not of corruptible seed"*, *means not from  natural seed.

                     *ii.*
*Not* a *natural birth.*
*b.*
But *we are born again of incorruptible seed.*
*i.* How did we get *"born again"?*
 
                     *ii.*
It was *thru* *or* *by *the *word of God.*
 
                *c.* Then Peter goes on to say that *it is alive & it  abides forever.

doing for t Lord.

*Why* is t *Word* of God so *important?

*JOHN 15:3*

T *Word* of God will *cleanse *you.
*2.*
*(Eph 5:25‑27) *"Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, (27) That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish."

Christ *sanctified* and *cleansed* t Church *by t Word.
B.* T *Word* of God will *cleanse* you, & it will *also heal* you.

                *a.* T *Word *of God is a *Sword* to be *used against *t *Devil.*
*b.* It can be *used* for *doctrine,* for *reproof,* for *correction,* for *instruction in righteousness.

*IV.*
Now *what* are some of t things that *God says about His Word?*
 
       *A.*
Well, *1st* of all we already read in *(1PE 1:23) *That the *Word* of God is *incorruptible.

But *God said more* than that *about* His *Word.*
