Today as we celebrate our 4 year anniversary, we have a lot to be thankful for. One of those things that we are thankful for is the building that God has given us. God wants the Church to have victory. He wants His Church to do great things for Him. Not only does He want the church to have victory, but He also wants us to live in victory. To be a victor means to be a winner, a success, it means to be a triumphant overcomer and conqueror.

     I. (ROM 8:37) says, “Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.”

              A. In this message we’re going to teach on living a Victorious life.

                        1. You might be thinking, “I can’t do any better, I’m not at the place of victory that I should be at, but I just can’t do any better.”

                        2. Don’t become satisfied with just having victory once in a while.

                                  a. God wants us to have victory more than just once in a while.

                                  b. It’s God’s will for you to live in victory.

              B. The Bible says, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (PHIL 4:13)

                        1. That means you, you can do it.

                                  a. Jesus said in (MARK 11:24) “Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.”

                                  b. Whatever it is that you set your heart after, you can do. (As long as it’s in the Word.)

                        2. He said it (God), “You can do all things through Christ which strengthens you.”

              C. Look at 1COR 15:57

                        1. You don’t have to be satisfied with just partial victory.

                        2. (2COR 2:14) Says, “Now thanks {be} unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ.”

                                  a. It’s through the Lord Jesus Christ that we can ALWAYS have the victory, because He ALWAYS causes us to Triumph.

II. But for us to have this kind of victory there are some things that we have to do. We can’t expect God to give us victory if we’re not doing what He expects of us.

              A. 1st of all check where your heart is. What are your motives?

                        1. Is Jesus still your 1st love.

                        2. 1CHRON 28:9a

                                  a. The NIV translation says, “He understands every motive behind the thoughts.”

                        3. He goes on to say in 2CHRON 28:9b.

                                  a. When He says, “if thou seek him,” the word “SeekmeansTo follow, to seek in prayer and worship.”

                                  b. And the word “FoundmeansTo be found,” but it also meansto be found sufficient.”

              B. If your motives are found to be pure by the Lord, you’re going to have God’s blessings upon you.

                        1. PSA 37:4

                                  a. Delight” means “To take pleasure in.”

                                  b. If you’re truly delighting in or taking pleasure in the Lord, apparently your motives are pure.

                                           i. He’s saying that if your motives are pure then God will give you the desires of your heart.

                        2. (PRO 21:8) Says, “As for the pure, his work is right.”

                        3. (MATT 5:8) Says, “Blessed {are} the pure in heart: for they shall see God.”

                                  a. You must have pure motives to please God, that’s the only way to fulfill God plan for your live, and to receive His best.

                                  b. If you want God’s best check your heart.

III. Our relationship with God is something that is very important.

              A. ACTS 27:19-26

                        1. Paul had fellowship with the Father, and because of that fellowship, Paul knew that they were all going to be safe. (Intimate relationship)

                                  a. In (V 25) Paul said, “For I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.”

                                  b. Strong faith is built when we fellowship with God.

                        2. In (1JOHN 1:3) John said, “Truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His son Jesus Christ.”

                        3. In (PHIL 2:1) Paul refers to having fellowshiping with the H. S.

                                  a. We need to know God, not just know about Him, but to have that relationship with him.

                                  b. In (2 Timothy 1:12) Paul said, “I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.” (KJV)

                                           i. In the book of (GAL) Paul makes the statementTo know God and to be known by Him.”

              B. We just made a reference toKnowing God builds strong faith.” We need to have a strong Confidence in God and in His Word.

                        1. 1SAM 17:31-37; 42- 47

                                  a. There’s this same knowing on the inside of you.

                                           i. A knowing that says you can WIN. The Victory is mine.

                                  b. Every battle you win builds more and more confidence in God.

                        2. (1JOHN 5:14-15) Says, “And THIS IS the CONFIDENCE that we have in him, that, IF WE ASK any thing ACCORDING TO HIS WILL, he heareth us: (15) And if we know that he hear us, WHATSOEVER WE ASK, WE KNOW that WE HAVE the petitions that we desired of him.”

                                  a. You’ve got to have confidence that God is faithful to you, and faithful to His Word.

                                  b. Know that God is a rewarder to those that diligently seek Him. He will give us the victory.

              C. Make your main goal to further the Kingdom of God.

                        2. (Matthew 6:33) Says, “Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” (KJV)

                                  a. If your main desire is to further the kingdom of God and His righteousness, then all of God’s blessing will come on you and overtake you. (DEUT 28:1)

              D. If you want victory in your life you have to be determined to get it.

                        1. ROM 4:17-18

                                  a. All natural hope was gone, but Abraham was determined that he was going to believe God and receive from Him.

                        2. PHIL 3:12-14

                                  a. If you’ve ever run a race it takes Determination to win.

                                  b. That’s what Paul’s talking about here, “I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”

                        3. 1COR 9:24

                                  a. Be determined to follow after the things of God all of your life.

                                  b. Everyone knows how important it is to follow after God when things are bad.

                                           i. But it’s just as important to follow Him when things are good.

ii. Sometimes people think that things are good so they don’t have to press into things of God for now.

iii. But it’s very likely that you are running on the prayers and faithfulness of yesterday. It’s like a reservoir, that reservoir will run out unless you keep filling it up with your prayers, worship, giving, and faithfulness to Him.

                                  c. God wants you to have the victory, and it’s available for all those who put their faith and trust in Him and who follow after Him.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           F. KEY #6 VISION

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 1. 2KINGS 6:8-18

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      a. You need to have a vision; see things the way God sees them.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 2. (PRO 29:18) Says, “Where {there is} no vision, the people perish.”

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      a. You need to see the end before the beginning.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           G.
