We’re going to *continue* teaching on *flowing in the anointing* of God.
As we have *said* *many times* in this teaching *“You are anointed.”*
*John said* in (*1 John 2:20*), *“But ye have an unction (or anointing) from the Holy One.”
And he goes on to say a few Vs later in* (*1 John 2:27*) *“But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth (or dwells) in you.”*
*Before* you can *ever walk in the anointing to any degree*, *you must accept what the Word says* and the fact *that you are anointed*.
*I) **Last week* we started *teaching on* *ways to have the anointing increase*.
*A) **1 of the points* that I brought out *was to* *“WALK IN THE SPIRIT.”*
*1) **When* you’re *walking in the spirit* *you’re not going to be fulfilling the lust of the flesh*.
*(a) *The *flesh* is going to *stop the anointing*.
*2) **But* *just as* *walking in the flesh* *stops or hinders the anointing*; *walking in the spirit* is going to *cause the anointing to flow in a greater measure*.
*(a) **I’ve said this before*, *but I need to repeat it*, *“The anointing is part of the character and personality of the HS.”*
*(i) **When you’re walking in the anointing* *you’re putting on the HS*, *with all of His power*, *might*, and *ability*.
*3) **But when you put on the HS* *and* *you’re walking in the spirit* *you’re going to be putting on more than just the anointing*.
*You’re also going to be putting on His attributes*.
*B) **Those attributes are* the *FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT*.
*GAL 5:22-23*
*1) **When you’re walking in the Fruit of the Spirit*, *that Fruit* *is anointed to bring you victory*.
*(a) *The *1st* fruit that is *mentioned* is *LOVE*.
*(i) **Walking in love* *brings the anointing* *and victory* *over hatred* *and all the defeat and demonic activity that goes with it*.
*(b) **PEACE*, the *2nd* fruit *has the anointing* *to bring victory over fear*, *worry*, *and anxiety*.
*(i) **Fear, worry and anxiety* *are faith in the devil* *and his ability* *to bring about the worse*.
*(ii) **But* *when you’re walking in the fruit* *called PEACE*, *you have peace* *because* *you know* that *God will come through*.
*(iii) **That’s faith in God* *and in His ability* *to bring about the very best*.
*II) **Now there are a few of the Fruits* of the spirit *that seem to stand out above the rest* *when it comes to helping you operate in the power of God*.
*A) **Of course* *LOVE is important*.
*1) **(1 Corinthians 13:2-3)* Says, *“And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
(3) And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.”*
