Introduction

Good Morning! It is wonderful to be back worshipping as a body once again.
It has been a long time since we have been able to fill these pews and enjoy worshipping God together and Fellowshipping in the chapel.
I want to thank all of you for tuning in on FaceBook and being faithful during this difficult and trying time.
I am for one blessed that I am able to preach His Word with an audience rather than a camera and a bright light that is blinding me and to see all your smiling faces.
We are continuing through the book of Revelation. Just as a recap we talked about why we are going through the book of Revelation.
We want to know where our hope lies. As we have seen over the last couple months that our hope cannot lie in anything but Jesus Christ and what He did on the cross.
We can’t rely on anything this world has to offer because it is sick and broken. The earth was desired to be our temporary holding place while Jesus was preparing a place for us so we can all be together for eternity.
Our First look into Revelation we looked at an image of Christ that John saw in a vision. He saw the Son of Man standing in the middle of seven lamp stands, holding seven stars with his face shining like the sun and a two edged sword coming from His mouth.
Our take away from last week was that Jesus ordains His word to be spoken through His servants to a dark world that is lost. And through His servants speaking of the hope only He can provide brings forth light in such a dark world.
And we are to remember our dependance of His authority…on His word. Because His word is the only thing that has the authority to give hope.
To Give ETERNITY.
And we would remember that it is not on our authority, our strength to deliver the message He has for us but that we rely solely on His powerful Word that cuts through the hardest of hearts to bring them in His warm embrace.
