Today we’re going to be *starting a different series*.
As I was studying last week, I felt so impressed to *minister on* “*Jehovah*.”
As I began to minister last Sunday, the Lord put upon my heart to minister on “*Who Jehovah is*.”

*As we look through the OT we see many references to “*LORD GOD*.”
In order for us *to get to know God*, we *have to get to know Him in the OT*.

*(*Malachi 3:6*) Says, “*For I am the LORD, I change not*.”

If we want to get to Know God*, we *have to look* at *who God is* *and* *what His character is like in the OT*.

*I’m *not saying* that we are to *live in the OT*, the *Church is* in the *NT*.

*There are *so many revelations* *in the NT* *never seen in the OT*.

But* that *doesn’t mean* that we are to *throw out* the *OT* just *because we have* the *New*.

*We can *still get so much out of the OT*, there are *nuggets and revelations* in the OT that we have *never seen before*.

*To throw out the OT would be like saying “Let’s throw out the Gospels, because we have the Epistles.”

*Yes, we are living in the Epistles, but there is so much in the Gospels.
It would be an injustice to do away with any part of the Word of God.

*We need the entire Word of God.
How else can you preach the full counsel of God.

*Getting back to the OT, the *OT* is more *than 3 X larger than the NT*.

*There is *so much* that *we can get out of the OT*.

*In *this chapter* we see *Moses coming to the burning bush*.

*He had just *spent* the *last 40 years* *in* the *wilderness* *keeping* his father in laws *sheep*.

*When *1 day* he was *tending the sheep* on the backside of the mountain Horeb, when all of a sudden he *saw* a *strange sight*.

*A *bush was on fire*, but the fire was *not consuming the bush*.

*When *Moses turned* to see what was going on the *Lord began to speak* to Moses.
