Resurrection - All authority is given me. Trust me. Hold on to me…Follow me. The Roman soldiers couldn’t stop him. The Pharisees couldn’t legislate it. The grave could not hold him.
Follow Me...
Romans 3:23–25 ESV
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25 whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God’s righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins.
Romans 10:9–10 ESV
9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.
There’s always areas of your life where you aren’t holding onto Jesus.
Easy vs Hard vs Impossible
John 16:20–24 ESV
20 Truly, truly, I say to you, you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice. You will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will turn into joy. 21 When a woman is giving birth, she has sorrow because her hour has come, but when she has delivered the baby, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a human being has been born into the world. 22 So also you have sorrow now, but I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you. 23 In that day you will ask nothing of me. Truly, truly, I say to you, whatever you ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. 24 Until now you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.

Are you confused like the disciples? Go back to the mission… Jesus doesn’t waste anything.

Are you self-righteous like the Pharisees? Repent…Jesus will judge the self-righteous.

Are you humbled like Simon? Rejoice…You get to be in the presence of God.
