I *felt impressed* that the Lord *wanted me to end* the series of *“Excellence of Character”* *and* *go on to* a *different area*, into the area of *healing being God’s will**.*
It’s not a subject that we haven’t heard before, but it’s such an important area in the Word of God that we *can not neglect it,**/ /**especially** when **so many** in our body are **being attacked.*
*I.
*Turn with me to *MATT 15:21-28**.*
*A.
*From *reading* these *Vs* of scripture, we can *see that* *Jesus healed* this *woman’s daughter*.
But there are *some **interesting things mentioned* here.
*1.
**1st* of all it *says* in *(V 22)* that this *woman is a Canaanite*, meaning that she was *a gentile*.
*2.
*Then in *(V 24)* *Jesus told her* that *He was sent only to the Jews.*
This *woman fell down* and *worshipped* Him, (If you need something from God, spend time in worship, it puts you in the right place).
*a.
*IN *(V 26)* *JESUS SAID*, *“It is not good to take the children’s bread and throw /it/ to the little dogs.”*[1]*

                                  *b.
**Jesus* was *saying* that *healing*, *deliverance*, *prosperity*, and *all* the *blessings of God* *are children’s bread.*
*B.
*JESUS SAID IN *(MAT 15:24),* *“I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”*[2]*
*IN OTHER WORDS, *TO The JEWS*.
                        *1.
*THEN *IN* *(MAT 15:26)* *JESUS* *REFERRING TO The JEWS** **AS CHILDREN**/ /**SAID*, *“It is not good to take the children’s bread and throw /it/ to the little dogs.”**.*
*2.
Jesus said* that *healing** and **all** of **God’s** **blessings** **belong to the Jews,* no 1 else.
*a.
**GAL 3:16; 26-31.*
*b.
**If** **you’re** **in Christ**,* *you are Abraham’s seed*.
*Abraham* was the *1st** **Jew*, *which **means you are a Jew**.*
*i.
*To make it a little clearer, *according to* *(GAL 3)* *you are a Jew*, *therefore* the *blessings of God belong to you**.*
*c.
**This woman* here *in* *(MAT 15)* *came* to Jesus almost *begging** the **Lord* *to **heal** her **daughter**.*
*i.
**We don’t have to beg* *because* *we are God’s children* and in right standing with Him.
              *C.
**PSA 37:25.*
*1.
**We don’t have to beg for bread* (*which* *Jesus called healing* *and* *God’s promises*) because they’re *already ours.*
*2.
*Just *another thought* about this woman in *(MAT 15)*, *she worshipped Jesus*, but that *isn’t always enough**.*
*3.
The **thing** that **got the job done** is **found in* *(V 28)* Where *Jesus said*, *“O woman, *v*great is your faith!
Let it be to you as you desire.”*[3]
*a.
*It was *her faith that got the job done*.

     *II.
**EXO 15:26.*
*A.
**Some have used this V to say* that *God* does *put** **sickness** **on people* to *teach them somet*hing.
They have *even said* that *AIDS is a JUDGMENT* FROM GOD, *IF IT WAS *THEN *WHY IS IT AFFECTING** **INNOCENT PEOPLE*.
Aids is not a judgment from God.
              *1.
**(1PET 2:24)* Says, b *“who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—* d*by whose* 7*stripes you were healed.”*
*III.
**PSA 105:37* This is *talking about* the *time* that the *children of Israel* *left Egypt* *God healed everyone of them* to where there was *not one feeble person*.
*A.
*In *(ACT 10:34)* it says, *“Then Peter opened /his/ mouth and said: In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality.*[4]*”*
*1.
If God healed one of the children of Israel, **then He’ll heal you.*
*a.
He* has *declared it in His Word*, He said, *“I AM THE LORD THAT HEALETH THEE.”*

**(NUM 23:19)* SAYS, *“God {is} not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do {it}?
Or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?”(KJV)*

If God has spoken it, **He will make it good.*
*3.
**(1KI 8:56)* SAYS, *“There hath not failed one word of all his good promise...”*
              *4.
**(PSA 119:89)* *Forever, O Lord, Your word **5** **is settled in heaven.***[5]***

**We have God’s Word* that *healing belongs to us.*
              *B.
**When God healed* all the children of *Israel*, it *wasn’t* just a *few hundred people**;* it was from *2 to 4 million** people*.
*1.
**(EXO 12:37)* Says that there were *600,000** men*, *not counting women and children.*
*a.
**If God was **willing** to **heal 3 million** people*, then *He’s **willing to heal you**.*
*b.
*It’s *God’s will* that *every** one** of **His **children** **be **made WHOLE**.*
*2.
**If** **God** was **willing*, *under* the *old covenant* to *heal 3 million* people, *how much more* is He *willing to heal **under** the **New Covenant* of mercy, and grace.
*a.
**HEB 8:6* *“(But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises.***[6]***)”*
*b.
**If you **take away** some of the **good **promises* from the *OT*, *then* this *New Covenant isn’t better.*
But *His Word says* that *this is a better Covenant, **so healing is provided* and even more so.
*IV.
*The word *“TESTAMENT”*, Legally speaking, *means **a person's will.*
*A.
*The *Bible contains God’s* *“LAST WILL and TESTAMENT,”* *anything written later** is a** **FORGERY*.
*1.
**If a person made a **statement** that was **different** **than** what **the will** said* would be *considered** a **falsehood or **a **lie **and **no bearing** would be given to it**.*
                        *2.
**Saying* that *God won’t heal*, which that *statement* is *not found in His Will* (TESTAMENT), *is **falsehood **and **no bearing** **should be given** to it.*
*a.
*We *already quoted* the *scripture** that **says** **God’s Word is settled forever in heaven**.*
*b.
**God** is **not going to change his mind**.*
*i.
*In *(MAL 3:6)* it says, *“For I /am/ the Lord, I do not change;”*
     *V.
**LUKE 4:40 **Jesus was revealing and doing **the **will of the Father**.*

Bosworth* in his book *“CHRIST The HEALER”* *says*: *Perhaps no one could be more conservative than the scholars of the **Episcopalian church**;* *and yet*, *the commission appointed to study the subject of spiritual healing for the body*, *after 3 years of study and research in both the bible and in history*, *reports back to the church*: *“The healing of Jesus was done as a revelation of God’s will for man.”*

*And because they discovered that God’s will was fully revealed in the subject of healing, they went in to add, *“NO LONGER CAN The CHURCH PRAY FOR The SICK with** THAT FAITH‑DESTROYING **PHRASE**,”** **“IF IT BE THY WILL.”*

**Some times**, you get **someone** who **says* that *they believe in healing* but they *don’t believe* that *healing* is *for all* of God’s children.

**If it’s not for everyone**,* than *how could we pray the prayer of faith?*
