We’re going to *continue* this week on the *subject of Grace*.
Today’s *message* is *called*, “*/Grace, power beyond ability/*.”
*I.
*Just *so* that we *all know what were talking about*, *Grace is God’s unmerited* (*unearned*) *favor*.
It is *also God’s riches at Christ expense*, it’s *God’s Holy Spirit*,
                  *A. *In (*/ZEC 12:10/*) and in (*/HEB 10:29/*) it refers to the “*/Spirit of Grace/*.”
*1.
*Grace is *also the very heart felt attitude of God* which *moves Him toward people*.
*2.
*It is *because of God’s Grace* that *God chooses* *to be involved in our lives*.
*B. *But *God’s Grace* is *also* the *power active within us* that *empowers us* or *gives us the ability* *to do the will of God*.
*1.
*He *gives us* the *ability* *to do what He has told us* to do.
*a.
*In (*/1 Corinthians 15:10/*) Paul says, “*/But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which [was bestowed] upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me/*.”
*i.
*You could say it this way, (*/1 Corinthians 15:10/*) “*/By the grace of God I am what I am: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me/*.”
*b.
*In (*/Luke 6:35/*) Jesus said, “*/Love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great/*.”
*i.
*You *can’t truly love* your *enemies* *without* the *Grace* of God being involved.
*c.
*Jesus said in (*/Luke 6:32/*) “*/For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them/*.”
*i.
*The word “*/thank/*” in *this V and in the 2 Vs that follow, is the Greek word* “*/Charis/*” which *almost always is translated* “*/Grace/*.”
