The most devoted practitioner of religion can achieve only a false hope until the truth of the gospel dawns on him or her. This was Paul’s experience and his testimony is not meant to be biographical, but evangelical. Paul wants each of us to experience the life transformation that comes to everyone who trusts in the resurrected Christ. The resurrection is much more than a historical fact.
