I. BIBLICAL REASONS FOR THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST.

(IT’S AT THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST): that: THE DEAD IN CHRIST ARE RAISED.

(ES A LA SEGUNDA VENIDA DE CRISTO): que: LOS MUERTOS EN CRISTO SON RESUCITADO.

(IF JESUS): does not come: THEY WILL NOT RISE FROM THE DEAD.

(SI JESÚS): no viene: NO SE LEVANTARÁN DE LOS MUERTOS.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 (CSB) 13 We do not want you to be uninformed, brothers and sisters, concerning those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve like the rest, who have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, in the same way, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep. 15 For we say this to you by a word from the Lord: We who are still alive at the Lord’s coming will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the archangel’s voice, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are still alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore encourage one another with these words.

1 John 3:2-3 (CSB) 2 Dear friends, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet been revealed. We know that when he appears, we will be like him because we will see him as he is. 3 And everyone who has this hope in him purifies himself just as he is pure.

I am going away to prepare a place for you. 3 If I go away and prepare a place for you, I will come again and take you to myself, so that where I am you may be also.

4). GOD’S WORD MUST BE FULFILLED.

The message I speak will be fulfilled. This is the declaration of the Lord God.’”

This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come in the same way that you have seen him going into heaven.”

5). (JUST JUDGMENT): must be: BROUGHT UPON THE UNGODLY.

Because of that day, the heavens will be dissolved with fire and the elements will melt with heat.

2 Thessalonians 1:6-10 (CSB) 6 since it is just for God to repay with affliction those who afflict you 7 and to give relief to you who are afflicted, along with us. This will take place at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven with his powerful angels, 8 when he takes vengeance with flaming fire on those who don’t know God and on those who don’t obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. 9 They will pay the penalty of eternal destruction from the Lord’s presence and from his glorious strength 10 on that day when he comes to be glorified by his saints and to be marveled at by all those who have believed, because our testimony among you was believed.

6). JESUS IS COMING TO GATHER THE HARVEST.

Revelation 14:14-16 (CSB) 14 Then I looked, and there was a white cloud, and one like the Son of Man was seated on the cloud, with a golden crown on his head and a sharp sickle in his hand. 15 Another angel came out of the temple, crying out in a loud voice to the one who was seated on the cloud, “Use your sickle and reap, for the time to reap has come, since the harvest of the earth is ripe.” 16 So the one seated on the cloud swung his sickle over the earth, and the earth was harvested.

Apocalipsis 14:14-16 (NBLA) 14 Y miré, y había una nube blanca, y en la nube estaba sentado uno semejante al Hijo del Hombre, que tenía en la cabeza una corona de oro, y en la mano una hoz afilada. 15 Entonces salió del templo otro ángel clamando a gran voz a Aquel que estaba sentado en la nube: «Mete Tu hoz y siega, porque la hora de segar ha llegado, pues la cosecha de la tierra está madura». 16 Aquel que estaba sentado en la nube metió Su hoz sobre la tierra y la tierra fue segada.

James 5:7 (CSB) 7 Therefore, brothers and sisters, be patient until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth and is patient with it until it receives the early and the late rains.

Santiago 5:7 (NBLA) 7 Por tanto, hermanos, sean pacientes hasta la venida del Señor. Miren cómo el labrador espera el fruto precioso de la tierra, siendo paciente en ello hasta que recibe la Lluvia temprana y la tardía.

7). JESUS WILL SHOW ALL CREATION THAT HE’S THE KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

1 Timothy 6:14-16 (CSB) 14 to keep this command without fault or failure until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ. 15 God will bring this about in his own time. He is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings, and the Lord of lords, 16 who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see, to him be honor and eternal power. Amen.

8). JESUS COMES TO DESTROY ALL UNRIGHTEOUSNESS, SIN, AND EVERY ANTICHRISTIAL FORCE.

8). JESÚS VIENE PARA DESTRUIR TODA LA INJUSTICIA, EL PECADO Y CADA FUERZA ANTICRISTIAL.

2 Thessalonians 2:3-10 (CSB) Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way. For that day will not come unless the apostasy comes first and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. 4 He opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he sits in God’s temple, proclaiming that he himself is God. 5 Don’t you remember that when I was still with you I used to tell you about this? 6 And you know what currently restrains him, so that he will be revealed in his time. 7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work, but the one now restraining will do so until he is out of the way, 8 and then the lawless one will be revealed. The Lord Jesus will destroy him with the breath of his mouth and will bring him to nothing at the appearance of his coming. 9 The coming of the lawless one is based on Satan’s working, with all kinds of false miracles, signs, and wonders, 10 and with every wicked deception among those who are perishing. They perish because they did not accept the love of the truth and so be saved.

9). JESUS WILL COME TO ESTABLISH HIS KINGDOM ON THE EARTH.

9). JESÚS VENDRÁ A ESTABLECER SU REINO EN LA TIERRA.

Revelation 20:4-6 (CSB) 4 Then I saw thrones, and people seated on them who were given authority to judge. I also saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and who had not accepted the mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. 5 The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were completed. This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is the one who shares in the first resurrection! The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and they will reign with him for a thousand years.

Apocalipsis 20:4-6 (NBLA) 4 También vi tronos, y se sentaron sobre ellos los que se les concedió autoridad para juzgar. Y vi las almas de los que habían sido decapitados por causa del testimonio de Jesús y de la palabra de Dios, y a los que no habían adorado a la bestia ni a su imagen, ni habían recibido la marca sobre su frente ni sobre su mano. Volvieron a la vida y reinaron con Cristo por mil años. 5 Esta es la primera resurrección. Los demás muertos no volvieron a la vida hasta que se cumplieron los mil años. 6 Bienaventurado y santo es el que tiene parte en la primera resurrección. La muerte segunda no tiene poder sobre estos sino que serán sacerdotes de Dios y de Cristo, y reinarán con Él por mil años.

CONCLUSION

(WE HAVE BEEN COMMISSIONED BY JESUS): to: OCCUPY UNTIL HE COMES.
