For us to have purpose & meaning in life, people need to know they are worth something. It's my prayer, that in this Easter message you will see your self in a different way, You will see just how valuable you are to God.

I.  Jesus was raised from the dead for you. (death, burial, & resurrection)

A. (2COR 5:21) Says, “For he hath made him {to be} sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”

1.  COL 2:13-15

2.  In (HEB 2:14-17) It tells us that Jesus became a man to reconcile us back to God, & to deliver us from the bondage & destruction of sin.

B. REV 1:18

1.  Jesus did it all for you.

II.God values you.

A. You are so important to God that before you were even born God had a plan for you.

1.  EPH 1:3-5

a.  God’s plan for you, before you ever were born, was to follow Him all the days of your life.

2.  PSA 139:14-16

a.  God sees you as wonderful.

b.  Listen to it from the NIV. (PSA 139:14-16) “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. (15) My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. (16) When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.”

c.  God loves you & He has a plan for your life, that is unique and original only to you.

B. Look at ISA 49:15-16

1.  In (HEB 13:5) The Lord said “I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”

2.  But look again at V 16.

a.  He said that He engraved our image on the palms of His hands.

b.  In (JER 29:11) God says that His thoughts for you are for peace, & not evil.

III. We've already said that you are valuable to God, But How Valuable?

A. Look at 1PET  The Value of something is based on the price paid for it.

1.  1PET 1:18-19

a.  (ACTS 20:28) Says, “Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.”

b.  You were brought with the blood of Jesus.

c.  God valued you enough to give His Son for your salvation.

B. LUKE 15:11-23

1.  In these Vs here we can also see how valuable we are to God.

a.  In (Vs 20-23) The Father was glad to see him kissed him (loved), put a robe upon him (He was someone), put a ring on his finger (authority), & killed the fatted calf (celebration).

b.  This is how valuable you are to God & to the body of Christ.

2.  24-31

a.  (V 31) Shows how much you're worth, you're worth all that God has.

IV. When you know your worth, there are some good things that happen.

A. LUKE 12:32

1.  When you realize how much you're worth & that God wants to give you good things, your faith will increase.

2.  It's much easier for you to believe God for certain things when you know that He wants to give it to you.

a.  1JOHN 5:14-15

B. When you begin to know your worth, you'll sense a peace that you never had before.

1.  MATT 6:25-34

2.  If you understand how valuable you are to God, know that He's going to take care of you.

a.  If you understand that, the peace of God will come that surpasses all understanding.

C. (PSA 30:5) Says, “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy {cometh} in the morning.”

1.  When you begin to see your value, great joy will come.

D. (ROM 12:3) Says, “Not to think of ourselves more highly than we ought to think.”

1.  We are to think of our selves highly, just not more highly than we ought to thing. (pride)

2.  When you begin to see yourself in the light that God sees you, it releases you to love yourself.
