Introduction:  The Resurrection of The Lord Jesus Christ is without a doubt the most important aspect of our faith - 1 Corinthians 15:17 ..if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.

Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.

Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished...... we are of all men most miserable.

But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.

Dr. J. Wilbur Smith said, “The meaning of the resurrection is a theological matter, but the fact of the resurrection is a historical matter.”

There are twelve separate appearances of Christ recorded in scripture after His resurrection.

If the Resurrection of Christ is not true -

1. then His story would have remained buried with Him; \\ 2. The New Testament would make no sense.

In the four Gospels 28 of the 89 chapters are given to consider the last week of Jesus’ life, death and resurrection.

During this last week of the Savior's earthly ministry I have noticed what I consider Seven Amazing Events.

They wanted Jesus because of what He can do for them, but they would not stand with Him.

The Resurrection of Jesus Christ Is Foundational To Christianity - 1 Cor 15:14-20.

It Is Necessary To Believe It If We Are To Be Saved - Romans 10:9.

Why? 1.

It Proves His Deity.

2. It Proves His Power.

3. It Proves God's Acceptance of the sacrifice.
