The KJV says, “Study to show thyself approved.”
The NKJV says, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God.” *The meaning of **“DILIGENT”** **depends upon* its *use*.
*It can mean* *“to **STUDY*, *to **PRESERVE*, *to be **ZEALOUS*, *to **ENDEAVOR*, *to **ATTEND TO*, *or* *VERY CAREFUL**.”*
It can *also** **mean* *“**ACCURATELY*, *EXACTLY*, and *PERFECTLY**.”*
