*I.       **INTRODUCTION:* *You can make your words work for you.*
*You can cause the things in God's Word to come to pass in your life.*
*Whatever you believe in your heart* *and say with your mouth, you will have.*
*II.
**THE BASIC PRINCIPLE* - *MARK 11:22-24.*
*A.
**Jesus*, *Almighty God come in the flesh,* *the Creator of the universe,* *was speaking in Mark 11:22­24.*
*God cannot lie;* *therefore*, *these words are* *true* *and they apply to you.*
*B.
**Jesus said,* *“**TRULY** **I say to you ...”* - *verse 23 NASB.*
*Jesus was saying, **“I am telling you the truth, this is a trustworthy saying.”*
*Jesus' statements are absolute fact.*
*C.
**The words* *“have faith in God”*/ /*(verse 22)* can be *better translated* *from* the *Greek* language as *“have the faith of God.”*/ /*In other words, **have the God-kind of faith*/, /*the faith that God has,* *a supernatural faith.
*
*D.
**Jesus said*, *“Whoever says”* - *verse 23.* *This principle will work for anyone* *who puts it into practice,* *including you.*
*E.  **The last part of* *verse 23* *says*, *“... he shall have whatsoever he saith.”*
*You can have what you say*.
*F.  **There are* *two important steps* *that you* *must take* *before you can* *have what you say.* *You must do both of those steps.*
*God's faith operates in the same way.*
*1.   *You *must speak what you want.*
*Verse 23 states,* *"whosoever shall say.”*
Your *choice of words is important*.
*2.   **You must* *believe in your heart (your spirit),* *not just in your* *mind*.
*Faith comes from your heart.*
*Verse 23 says,* *"And shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe."*
*What are you to believe?*
*a.   **Believe in your words.

*b.   **Believe that what you say will come to pass* - *verse 23.

**If* *you really* *believe* *something* *in your heart* *and* *say it* *with* *your mouth,* *you will have what you say;* *your words will come to pass.

*H.  **Either the belief or** faith* *in your heart* *and release of that faith through your spoken words* *must occur.

*1.   **The blessings of God,* *answers to prayer,* *and even salvation do not come* *simply* *because* *you have faith in your heart*.
*a.   **Both belief and confession* *are necessary* *for salvation* - *Romans 10:8-10.

*b.   **Your faith* *must be* *released* *and* *put into action with your words *- *II Corinthians 4: 13. *
*2.   **Everything* *that* *you receive from God comes in this way* *(salvation, healing, being filled with the Holy Spirit, having your needs abundantly supplied).

*I.     **In order to* *believe* *or have* *faith for something*, *you* *must know* *that the **scriptures say* *that it* *belongs to you* *through Jesus Christ.*
*Faith comes by hearing God's Word* - *Romans 10: 17. *
*1.   **Your* *choice of **words* *will be a* *result of what you believe.*
*2.   **Your* *words that are full of faith,* *based on God's Word,* *will* *create* *the* *reality* *of* *what you want* *in your life.*
*III.
**Biblical Examples.
*
*A.
**Jesus* *followed* the *principle* *of* *believing* *and* *speaking* - *Mark 11: 12-14, 19-23.
*
*1.   **Jesus spoke to the tree* - *verse 14.*
*2.   **Jesus* *believed in His heart* *that* *what He said* *would* *come to pass*.
*3.   **Jesus' words came to pass* - *verses 20 and 21.*
*4.   **Through this action*, *Jesus* *showed* the *disciples* *the truth* *stated* *in verse 23.*
*5.   **Jesus spoke* *directly* *to the tree*.
*He also said in verse 23*, *"whosoever shall* *say unto this mountain”*
*a.   **You can* *speak to Satan* *and* *command him to leave*.
*b.   **You can* *speak to disease* *and* *command it to leave*.
*c.   **You can* *speak to your body* *and* *command it* *to* *come in line* *with* *the* *Word* *and be healed.*
*d.   **You can* *speak to the problems* *that you face* in your life.
*e.   **If you* *will* *believe* *in* *your* *heart* *that the words you speak* *will* *come to pass*, *you* *will* *have* *what you say.*

**A **woman* *with* *an* *internal hemorrhage* *followed* the *principle* *of believing and speaking **Mark 5:21, 25-34.*
*1.   **The* *woman's condition* is *seen* in *verses 25 and 26.*
*2.   *The *woman* had *heard* *reports about Jesus*.
*Someone had told her about Jesus* *and how* *He was healing people* - *verse 27.* *She* *received faith* *from what she heard* *about Jesus* *(Romans 10: 17).*
*3.   *The *scripture says* that *she said something** *- *verse 28.

*a.   **She said*, *“If I may touch but His clothes, I **shall** be whole.”*

**When* *David defeated Goliath* *he* *followed* the *principle of believing and speaking* - *I Samuel 17*.
*1.   **Notice* what *David said* *before he went* *out to* *meet* *Goliath* - *verses 36 and 37.*
*a.   **David* *was* *speaking his confidence and faith* *that God would deliver him.*
*b.   **David knew the power of God*.
He *said what he knew and believed* *it in his heart.*
*2.   **Notice what David said* *in the face of Goliath* *and what* *Goliath had said* - *verses 44-47*.
*a.   **David was looking at what God could do*, *not at the giant's* size.
