Last Sunday night God just put upon my heart to share on t subjects of Faith, Confession, & Seeing yourself in t proper image. If your remember (NUM 13:33) Which says, "And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, {which come} of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight." We need to see ourselves in t proper image, seeing ourselves according to t Word of God; T head not t tail, Victorious, An overcomer.

       I. Back in (MATT 5:14-16) it says, "Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.  (15) Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.  (16) Let your light so shine before men."

                 A. In (JOH 8:12) Jesus said, "I am the light of the world." (PSA 119:130) Says, "The entrance of thy words giveth light."

                             1. That light that we have comes from t Lord Jesus Christ & t Word of God.

                             2. (MAT 5:16) Says, "Let your light so shine."

                 B. ROM 1:15-16

                             1. Notice that Paul said, "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ."

                                         a. We should not be ashamed of t Gospel, but many people

are.

                                                     i. I think one of t reasons why many are ashamed is

that they don't know that t Gospel of God is powerful. (they've heard it)

ii. Paul said here that "The gospel is the power of God unto salvation."

                                         b. What is t GOSPEL?

                                                     i. It's t Good News.

ii. T Gospel is also t Word of God.

                                         c. This V is telling us that "T Word of God is t power of God unto Salvation."

                                                     i. T word "Salvation" comes from t root word "Sozo"

Which also means, Save, but it means much more than that it is an all inclusive word meaning, salvation, healing, deliverance, safety, & soundness of mind.

ii. In other words it's all t promises of God.

iii. If we use t Definitions that I just gave you (ROM 1:16) would say, T Word of God is t power of God unto His promises.

                             2. HEB 4:12

                                         a. T Word of God is alive & it is powerful, just like what we said about (ROM 1:16).

       II. Look at MARK 11:24

                 A. Notice that in this V it says that "when you pray, believe that ye receive."

                             1. You have to believe or have faith before you'll receive.

                                         a. There's power in faith, but how do you get t faith to

receive?

                                         b. (ROM 10:17) Says, "So then faith {cometh} by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." (KJV)

                             2. T best way to get t faith to receive is to hear God's Word & t best way for you to hear it is to confess it yourself, "speak out t word of promise."

                                         a. (2PE 1:3) Says, "According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that {pertain} unto life and godliness."

                                         b. It's not a matter of God doing something, He's already done it.

                                                     i. Now it's a matter of us doing something.

ii. We need to release t Power of God.  SPEAK T WORD.

                 B. MAR 11:23

                             1. Lets read it again, but this time notice t "say, saith, & saith. (read)

                             2. ISA 55:11 When you speak out t promise of God it will not

return void, or empty as t NIV puts it.

                                         a. But it will accomplish that which it was sent out to

do.

                 C. Now someone always ends up thinking, "Well, what if God didn't

want us to have one of those things that we are confessing?"

                             1. 1st of all is it t Word of God that you're confessing, if

not you have no business confessing it.

                             2. & 2nd if it's a promise of God & He doesn't want you to have it, that would make Him a liar.

                                         a. I think that it hurts God's heart (if that's possible) when God tries to give us something & we say I don't know if that what God wants for me.

                                         b. We need to be a little more like Abraham.

                                                     i. In (ROM 4:20) It says, "He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to

God;" (KJV)

       III. MAT 8:5-10, 13

                 A. Jesus spoke t Word & t servant was healed.

                             1. But notice something else that Jesus said in V 10 (read)

                             2. Why did this man have such great faith?

                                         a. He had revelation of t power & authority of t Word of

God.

                                         b. If you get this revelation for yourself you too will

have great faith.

                 B. HEB 11:3

                             1. T worlds were framed by t Word of God.

                             2. There is power in t spoken Word of God.

                                         a. Get that revelation for yourself & you'll begin to change Situations thru t Word of God.
