Pain of the Cross: Remembering the Agony of Good Friday

One of the challenges of worshiping the Lord with all your heart, soul, and mind is not allowing familiarity to become apathy. We are all finite beings who forget or become apathetic towards wonderful truths. The cross is no exception. On one hand, the cross fills our homes, prayers, churches, and identifies us as Christians. On the other hand we can become so familiar with the cross that we forget about the agony that Jesus went through on the cross.
