What would God do to get your attention?

For those who tend to look up a display in the heavens - luxury

For those who tend to look down – a divine host - labor

For those who tend to look around – a – longing

God will go to any lengths to reveal His will to a person who is listening.

Zechariah & Elizabeth -

It is frightening to think that God’s presence might startle us in the middle of our worship.

The answer to our prayer can be unexpected

Often the realities of our own lives overshadow the supernatural things that God can desire to do.

The Shepherds

They were homeless – living in the fields.

They worked the night shift.

Why should God have chosen these shepherds to see this marvelous revelation.  There probably wasn’t anyone else up.  God has a way of blessing His people.  He has a special eye for those who are less fortunate than others.

The Winds of Fate

One ship drives east and the other west

With the selfsame winds that blow.

'Tis the set of the sails

And not the gales

Which tells us the way to go.

Like the winds of the sea are the ways of fate,

As we voyage along through life:

'Tis the set of a soul

That decides it's goal,

And not the calm or the strife.
