Why should I work to become a more thankful person?

1.    It is God’s will for his children and therefore a demonstration of trust in Him.  1 Thessalonians 5:12-18

2.    A thankful person is a more likely candidate for the blessing of God

3.    People are attracted to the kingdom of God by those who manifest a grateful spirit.

4.    The world looks different through thankful eyes.

5.    We are less likely to be driven by a sense of want
