Forgiveness is Key to Good Physical & Spiritual Health

(NKJV)
16 Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
Confess so that you may be forgiven.
Get it out in the open and let it go. Holding on to a sin, even just one little sin is like one black dot on a white paper - the paper is no longer purely white.
One you have released your sin your body and spirit can be healed and you gain strength in the physical sense and strength in the your prayer.

Forgiveness is Key to a Closeness with God.

(NKJV)
23 Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, 24 leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.
If you are coming before God with your gifts to be of service to Him but you have something wrong between you and another person, go and reconcile.
This could be a family member, friend, or just an acquaintance, but they must be a fellow-Christian go reconcile.
Clear the slate so nothing stands between you and God.

Consistency is Key to Success for Closeness with God.

(NKJV)
(NKJV)
37 But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’ For whatever is more than these is from the evil one.
Not keeping your word is truly just a lie. A lie can lead to more lies to cover-up your first lie and eventually can lead to many other paths that are against God.
The longer the path the further away from God.
The first compromise

Consistency is Key to Happiness in God.

(NKJV)
16 Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. 17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.
Good gifts come from God
Every good & perfect gift comes from God and no other. God is consistently perfect, loving, forgiving, blessing, and on and on. There is no end to God’s consistency, for He is our Rock on which to lean.
If we consistently strive to be more like God/Jesus then one of our good and perfect gifts will be overall happiness in life.

Prayer is Key to Closeness with God.

(NKJV)
18 The Lord is near to all who call upon Him,
To all who call upon Him in truth.
Truly calling upon the Lord is through sincere prayer. Sincere prayer is investing in a close relationship with God.

Prayer is Key for Information & Direction.

(NKJV)
(NKJV)
11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. 12 Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. 13 And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you, says the Lord, and I will bring you back from your captivity; I will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you, says the Lord, and I will bring you to the place from which I cause you to be carried away captive.
When you call upon the Lord, with clear conscience through confession, you will be lead, directed, and cared for on your journey.

Knowledge of the Word of God Brings Peace of Mind.

(NKJV)
1 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.
3 He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of righteousness
For His name’s sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord
Forever.
Knowledge of knowing the Lord as your master/shepherd brings peace.
For if you know your Lord, then you know he wants good and perfect gifts for you.

Knowledge Brings Peace of Spirit in Knowing What is Right.

(NKJV)
31 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. 32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
You want peace and a free spirit, then you must know Jesus intimately so you will know the truth and your will not have to worry.

Communication with the Rest of the Body, Strengthens the Body.

(NKJV)
29 Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.
Do not grieve the Spirit by lack of communication or slanderous communication.
Grieving the Spirit weights it down, build one another up so that the Spirit of God may be unencumbered to work within the body.

Communication Protects the Body.

(NKJV)
37 “For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”
Your words as a single person or as a body of Christ can clear your name or convict you.
Be sure that you words are true and “your yes is yes and no is no”.

Trust in Who God is & What He Tells You Through His Word.

(NKJV)
10 Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth!
Firstly, know that He is God and He is will be raised up in the end and His people will be with Him.
(NKJV)
8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
The Lord is the Saviour of all nations.

Trust in the Ways, Strength, and Direction of God for All Things.

(NKJV)
3 But You, O Lord, are a shield for me,
My glory and the One who lifts up my head.
4 I cried to the Lord with my voice,
And He heard me from His holy hill.
Selah
5 I lay down and slept;
I awoke, for the Lord sustained me.
6 I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people
Who have set themselves against me all around.
(NKJV)
7 The Lord is my strength and my shield;
My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped;
Therefore my heart greatly rejoices,
And with my song I will praise Him.
The Lord is the Lord and there is no other. The Lord is the only source for love, truth, provisions, safety, freedom, and need you have.
The Lord is the Lord and there is no other. The Lord is the only source for love, truth, provisions, safety, freedom, and need you have.
The Lord is the Lord and there is no other. The Lord is the only source for love, truth, provisions, safety, freedom, and need you have.

Love for God & No Other God is Paramount.

(NKJV)
27 So he answered and said, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,’ and ‘your neighbor as yourself.’
28 And He said to him, “You have answered rightly; do this and you will live.”
You want everything God has to offer, then it’s simple love Him and Him only and with everything you have.

Love for God is Survival with Blessings.

(NKJV)
The Greatest Commandment
6 “Now this is the commandment, and these are the statutes and judgments which the Lord your God has commanded to teach you, that you may observe them in the land which you are crossing over to possess, 2 that you may fear the Lord your God, to keep all His statutes and His commandments which I command you, you and your son and your grandson, all the days of your life, and that your days may be prolonged. 3 Therefore hear, O Israel, and be careful to observe it, that it may be well with you, and that you may multiply greatly as the Lord God of your fathers has promised you—‘a land flowing with milk and honey.’
4 “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one! 5 You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.
For Israel, love for God was to survive all the things going on around them and eventually be blessed in the “land of milk and honey.”
Remember the Lord is the same with all those whom He loves, so he will bring you through also - with blessings.
