God wants us to turn from sin to God. 2 Corinthians 7:4-16 gives us three reasons why we should turn. (1)We turn because repentance comforts us and others (2 Cor. 7:4-7). (2) We turn because repentance changes us (2 Cor. 7:8-12). (3) We turn because repentance promotes joy (2 Cor. 7:13-16).
