Theme: How we sense God through suffering outside of our control. When a person suffers, they suffer alone and long-term suffering can lead to deep loneliness. No believer can be as ultimately alone as Job was because the cross of God leads us thru pain. Jesus has been there, he will take us by the hand and lead us, and we can share in the glory of his suffering together. We are never abandoned when we are in Christ. Tragedy turns to triumph in the resurrection of Jesus.
