*WHOLEHEARTEDNESS:THE MEASURE OF THE FULLNESS OF CHRIST*
* *
*SONG OF SOLOMON 3:1-4; EPHESIANS 3:3:17-19; JER.29:13; Matt.

*INTRODUCTION*
* *
*            After quite some time of teaching, training and ministry Jesus gave a pop quiz at the foot of Mount Hermon (Source of the Jordan), Caesarea Phillipi.
“WHO DO PEOPLE SAY I AM”?  “WHO DO YOU SAY I AM”?  Peter = “Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.”  Fullness that Jesus had been looking for.
Finally, among the closest on earth to him was a knowledge for which he longed.
For one brief moment the clouds of doubt dispelled and someone saw who he was.
He was seen in his fullness by a man.
CHRIST THRILLED.*
* *
*            When the disciples woke up that morning, did they know that one of them was going to receive the fullest revelation of God ever to enter the mind of man?  *
*            THEME: FULLNESS OF CHRIST~/FULLNESS OF TIME.
Sparked by question by one of our own recently:  How does one get to the fullness of Christ, I am awakened in my spirit to a seeking after God.
For most of my life as a Christian I have been on a quest to know Him in his fullness = Last 12 years.
This week as I have meditated on the THEME: FULLNESS, I have asked the Lord to show me what he means by FULLNESS.
What is a true seeking after God?  What is this FULLNESS for which I long?

*Transition:     Text:   Song of Solomon 3:1-4 “On my bed by night I sought him whom my soul loves; I sought him, but found him not.
I will rise now and go about the city, in the streets and in the squares; I will seek him whom my soul loves.
I sought him, but found him not.
The watchmen found me as they went about in the city.
“Have you seen him whom my soul loves?”
Scarcely had I passed them when I found him whom my soul loves.
I held him, and would not let him go until I had brought him into my mother’s house, and into the chamber of her who conceived me.”*
