| *Name the Sunday School Class*/By Richard Hendricks/Did you notice the blank line in the title of this newsletter?
That’s because I believe that “Homebuilders” does not adequately describe our Sunday School class.
I encourage all of us to think about what we want our Sunday School class to be called.
|
| *Ideas for Socials Needed*/By Richard Hendricks/One of my problems is the fact that planning for socials and I go together like oil and water.
That being said, I believe that it is important for our class to get together outside of the Sunday School Hour for times of fellowship and fun.
If you have any ideas of things that we can do as a class or you would like to open your home for class parties, please let me know.

*The Current Unit – Old Testament Salvation History*

Over the past 5 weeks we have been studying selected passages from the Old Testament.
The purpose of this survey is to see the beginnings of God’s work in drawing us to Himself.
The Old Testament presents God’s desire for a personal relationship with us as shown in its people and events.
The ambitious goal of this unit is to consider the whole historical context of salvation from the creation of the world to the promise of the Messiah.
