We are in Canaan, the battles begin for the promises. Don’t be discouraged - double redemption is at hand. You will have to fight for this.
There is a turning point you must get to - the point of highest tension where things start to shift in your favor.
Maintain, Accelerate, Go Vertical, Change Lanes, Finish Strong
There are different gears are required for different driving conditions. The believer must be able to detect conditions of the road and determine when to switch gears.

For the believer, this all comes together to mean that you have to be able to detect what season you are in so that you can switch into the right gear (ie. some seasons require more fasting, prayer, etc.) After some driving experience/as you mature spiritually, you'll be able to figure out when to shift by the way the engine/conditions of your life sounds and “feels".

There’s an enemy in Canaan - who is set to persecute every house that will declare the name of the Lord.

Paul is happy to hear there faith maintains. He’s so proud that he’s willing to risk his life to be around people infected with belief and hope.
What are the people in your house infected with?
In spite of how the race seems, maintaining means you are still in the race. Rome was still in the race. Be careful not to buy into quitting when everyone else around you says “throw in the towel”
You will never see the promise of your tomorrow if you stop moving.
Belivers understand - there is only one response to persecution. Faith!
There is a faith that must maintain the mishaps of this world and the attacks of the enemy.
“That is your faith” = Your faith = this is personal – corporate – the body in Rome, and its parts – “that your faith”
What is faith that maintains?

And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed and therefore I spoke,” we also believe and therefore speak,

• Believing is a decision not an emotion. It is what you choose.
A lot of people say they love you before you believe. One day you choose to believe. Something happens inside of you to make you determine its true. Like you choose to love, you choose faith

The order - what you believe changes how you speak! If you believe you never use concession language! As long as you are the driver behind the wheel - you know there is another gear - conditions will shift in your favor - but you must maintain!

For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.

The victory is defined by God - you still have faith during and after persecution - that is your victory report!
Paul says there is a report = an announcement, declaration, proclamation:
I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?”
