Confidence God Hears (vs14)

Praying is a matter of when, but never if.

We approach God as His child through faith in Jesus Christ.

It is only by the name of Jesus we can come, but we come with absolute confidence (Hebrews 4:16).

We can pray knowing that God is listening.

Confidence We Receive (vs15)

We have confidence that God not only hears but acts.

Our prayers are seeking God’s will like Jesus instructed and as He exemplified.

God will never give us something that is harmful in the long run (Luke 11:11-13).

We will always find what we need when we go to God (Hebrews 4:16).

Confident Praying (vs16-17)

Sin is connected to death and should always be taken seriously.

God promises here that He will bring life as we pray for our brothers

and sisters in sin.
