Grace is a gift

By modern definition I do not have the gift of grace. I can trip on a flat smooth surface. I can not dance smoothly.
We define grace about the outward appearance of calmness, smooth gentle movements, and orderly conduct with knowledge of how to act in public situations.
The Chorus is quite simple, “Salvation, Salvation is Free”. The thing about salvation is that yes, it doesn’t cost us anything, but only to give up that from which we need to be saved. If we didn’t have anything to be saved from, then Salvation would never exist.

Grace is a Process for all Humankind

Our Sin causes death.
Let’s talk about Adam. Let’s go back to the beginning of Humankind. Adam (which is Hebrew for Man), went against God’s design. God’s design was perfect in order and structure. Human went again this order and structure causes disorder and chaos. This disorder caused death to those of God’s prefect design. We feel the effects of the Disorder as disorder has continued.
Death has been and is the result. Then came Law to ease some order back into the disorder. So now, since the time of Moses, we have Sin and Law. There is a process beginning.
God could have decided to once again destroy everything and start all over. But God instead chose to offer His creation Mercy and Grace. So He begins to show His creation a way back to His perfect order and structure. But Of course, our free will and our knowledge of what is Good and Evil, our worldly knowledge is also still present. This is how God designed us. We have free will, Adam and Eve could have chosen to stay in the prefect order of things and only be filled with God’s wisdom and love, but through the first sin, Eve was deceived into thinking that it would be wonderful to have the knowledge of the dark side.
So God gave the Law to Moses. Then more laws were added, addendum to the originals, amendments and so forth. But the Law was good for God’s people to follow. Jesus came to fulfill the Law in this way. He is the latest part of the process back to Salvation.

Adam’s Failure to Jesus’ Grace

Verses 15-16 There is Death through Adam, but there is Grace through Christ!
Grace is truly greater than our sin. We receive a verdict of death because of our sin, yet through the gift of Christ we are acquitted of our just punishment. Death is our punishment for sin, but grace is multiplied through the actions of our Savior. But Grace does so much more for us then just being a gift of mercy.Grace is multiplied in us. We experience Grace in many ways. God’s love for us even when we do not know Him, God making a way back to Him — Prevenient Grace.
Christ Dying on a Cross to give us justice, He took the punishment from us and for us — Through His actions we are given His Justified Grace.
Through the gift of His Spirit, who comes as our comforter and guide, we are given the gift of Sanctifying Grace.

We are made Righteous through the Death of The One Christ.

Where their is sin, grace multiplies to cover all sin. We sin, we disobey the Law, and our failure is amplified. Jesus came and wiped away our failure. He came to wipe away the sin and death. So now we have the gift of Righteousness. Now we have the gift of Sanctifying Grace. We are being made righteous. We don’t have to work at obeying the Law. We work to obey Christ. He is the Law. Through following Christ, we are able to overcome our sinful nature that we were given through Adam.
We can always chose Christ.

Live with Grace

So it is your choice. Do you live with nothing but death lying ahead of you? Do you live trying your personal best to be best you can be, yet still living in sin? Or do you live in Christ, with the forever multiplying gift of grace that leads to eternal life?
