Matthew 14:28–29 ESV

1. We must be obedient to what the Lord calls us to do.

Matthew 14:22 NLT
22 Immediately after this, Jesus insisted that his disciples get back into the boat and cross to the other side of the lake, while he sent the people home.
Doing is believing in Him.
He will send us into the storm sometimes.

2. It’s OK to question God.

Matthew 14:28 NLT
28 Then Peter called to him, “Lord, if it’s really you, tell me to come to you, walking on the water.”
Make sure you make sure.
Then you will do the impossible.

3. Always wait until you hear the Lord.

Matthew 14:29 NLT
29 “Yes, come,” Jesus said. So Peter went over the side of the boat and walked on the water toward Jesus.
Never move on doubt.
Get ready for the impossible.
