9 Give the Levites to Aaron and his sons; they are the Israelites who are to be given wholly to him.
10 Appoint Aaron and his sons to serve as priests; anyone else who approaches the sanctuary must be put to death.”
Who was allowed in the sanctuary?
Only Aaron and the tribe of Levi.

Anyone else who comes near the sanctuary must be put to death.”
How did the Israelites view being chosen to serve as a priest?
A gift from God

How do we approach God’s presence today?
Hebrews 4:16  Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
