If you love me, you will keep my commands, my mitzvot. It is wrong to think of Messianic Judaism or Christianity as “easy,” requiring only pleasant feelings of love but no actions to prove it. Dake’s Annotated Reference Bible lists 1,050 New Testament commands which, according to this verse, are to be obeyed by those who love Yeshua. The distinction drawn between Old Testament Judaism as a religion of law and New Testament faith as a religion of love is unfounded. In both the Tanakh and the B˒rit Chadashah biblical religion is based on both love and law, both mercy and justice; it has always been so and always will be.

If you guard The Father’s teaching, you will be loved by YAHUSHA and YAHUAH and YAHUSHA will manifest himself to those that guard The Father’s teaching.
If you guard The Father’s teaching, you will be loved by YAHUSHA and YAHUAH and YAHUSHA will manifest himself to those that guard The Father’s teaching.

So the commands that YAHUSHA is telling us to follow The Father YAHUAH is telling him so this comes from YAHUAH.
For this is the love of YAH, that we guard את eth-his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. YAHUCHANON RI'SHON את CEPHER

If you say that you love YAHUAH and guard not his commandments then you are a lier and the Truth is not in you. The next sentence says “But whoso guards his word.” All of the scriptures is His word. As stated in
All Scripture is given by the RUACH YAHUAH, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of YAH may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

The one who says, “I know Him,” and does not guard His commands, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever guards His Word, truly the love of Elohim has been perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. The one who says he stays in Him ought himself also to walk, even as He walked. Beloved, I write no fresh command to you, but an old command which you have had from the beginning. The old command is the Word which you heard from the beginning.”

And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your belief virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience the fear of YAH; KEPHA SHENIY את CEPHER

For if there come unto your synagogue a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment; And ye have respect to him that wears the fine clothing, and say unto him, Sit here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand there, or sit here by my footstool: Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts? Hearken, my beloved brethren, Has not YAHUAH chosen the poor of this world rich in belief, and heirs of the Kingdom which he has promised to them that love him? But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats? Do not they blaspheme that worthy name by the which ye are called? If ye fulfil the royal mitsvah according to the Scripture, You shall love your neighbour as yourself, ye do well: But if ye have respect of persons, ye commit sin, and are convicted by the Torah as transgressors. For whosoever shall guard את eth-the whole Torah, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. For he that said, Do not break wedlock, said also, Do not kill. Now if you do not break wedlock, yet if you kill, you have become a transgressor of the Torah. So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the Torah of liberty. For he shall have judgment without mercy, that has showed no mercy; and mercy rejoices against judgment. What does it profit, my brethren, though a man say he has belief, and have not works? can belief save him? “My brothers, do not hold the belief of our Master יהושע Messiah, the Master of esteem, with partiality. For if there should come into your meeting place a man with gold rings, in a splendid robe, and there should also come in a poor one dressed in rags, and you pay attention to the one wearing the splendid robe and say to him, “You sit here in a good place,” and say to the poor one, “You stand there,” or, “Sit here by my feet,” have you not discriminated among yourselves, and become judges with wicked thoughts? Listen, my beloved brothers: Has Elohim not chosen the poor of this world, rich in belief and heirs of the reign which He promised to those who love Him? But you have shown disrespect towards the poor man. Do not the rich oppress you and drag you into the courts? Do they not blaspheme that good Name by which you are called? If you truly accomplish the sovereign law according to the Scripture, “You shall love your neighbour as yourself,” you do well, but if you show partiality, you commit sin, being found guilty by the Torah as transgressors. For whoever shall guard all the Torah, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all. For He who said, “Do not commit adultery,” also said, “Do not murder.” Now if you do not commit adultery, but you do murder, you have become a transgressor of Torah. So speak and so do as those who are to be judged by a Torah of freedom. For the judgment is without compassion to the one who has shown no compassion. And compassion boasts over judgment. My brothers, what use is it for anyone to say he has belief but does not have works? This belief is unable to save him. And if a brother or sister is naked and in need of daily food, but one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and be filled,” but you do not give them the bodily needs, what use is it? So also belief, if it does not have works, is in itself dead. But someone might say, “You have belief, and I have works.” Show me your belief without your works, and I shall show you my belief by my works. You believe that Elohim is one. You do well. The demons also believe – and shudder! But do you wish to know, O foolish man, that the belief without the works is dead? Was not Aḇraham our father declared right by works when he offered Yitsḥaq his son on the slaughter-place? Do you see that the belief was working with his works, and by the works the belief was perfected? And the Scripture was filled which says, “Aḇraham believed Elohim, and it was reckoned to him for righteousness.” And He called him, “he who loves Elohim.” You see, then, that a man is declared right by works, and not by belief alone. In the same way, was not Raḥaḇ the whore also declared right by works when she received the messengers and sent them out another way? For as the body without the spirit is dead, so also the belief is dead without the works.”
